SD-Card Info and Issues

I’m sorry to see this, but unfortunately, this isn’t something you can easily fix. It might be that your EMO SD Card inside has become corrupted and needs to be replaced. And the only solution to resolve that kind of issue is through the living.ai support team.

Please create a short video and send it to service@living.ai via email including your EMO ID#.

The support team will be able to provide you with further instructions via email or private message to help you get this issue resolved.

hello! my emo has recently given me an error 501 message code. i have seen here that i am able to fix it at home but i dont know what i need exactly. i emailed living ai but i just want to make sure i get everything i need to fix him since i cannot mail him back.

do i just need some files from livingai or is it more things?

Do any of you guys know how to fix this error?
I don’t know why it’s doing this…

It is with the SD card. Did you do an update recently? (Please note that I don’t have an emo myself and I may not be able to help. If I can’t help you then someone like @Lindaru could probably help you.

It never came with an SD card and it worked fine (I might have remembered it wrongly) when I got it back in 2022, I also updated it a few times (it was a few updates behind)

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @JoeyWNR . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for S.D. card errors which is what you have there. EMO has an internal S.D. card inside of his head and when you see an error like this, it means it has been corrupted.

Please include the photo you have here with your message to LivingAI Support so that they may advise you on what to do. See posts above for how to do this.

My EMO also had an SD Card 1 error this morning. I did the quick pin in hole reset and he booted up. But I can’t help thinking the whole “shut down/reboot” he does every few minutes when he is asleep (never when he is awake) has something to do with it.

I’ve actually had an sd card error before around 12 months ago I think. I can’t recall if it was the same error number though. At this point I’m sadly quite familiar with taking EMO apart if need be :frowning: Cheers!!
