Replacement Emo motherboard
Hi everyone, my name is Raffaele and I am writing from Italy. I state that I am not very good in English, so please excuse any mistakes even if I help myself with the translator.
I wrote to support living.ai on 11 march, with nr order made by my friend in november 2025 (I bought after 1 month to him) and I’m waiting response. I would to ask if someone know an Admin for the following issue.
Emo go Home arrived to my son at Christmas, a couple of weeks ago it stopped charging on the charging base and I thought, after various attempts at cleaning and reset, that the battery needed to be replaced. I bought an identical one (mod. 603450) and with the help of the @Edward tutorial (congratulations) I replaced it, but the problem remained. In practice, the battery figure appears in red on the display of the charging base for a second and over time it also warms up under the left foot, where Emo has the charging coil. But no light around the headphones and no shot of the robot.
Having practically voided the warranty with the opening (I thought it was an easily solvable problem) I entrusted Emo to a friend of mine who is a computer / electronics technician, he even worked for Apple, which gently opened and analyzed it. Finally, he found the failure of the “power chip” on the motherboard, which is difficult to repair, and a spare part of the entire motherboard would be needed.
I therefore asked to service.living.ai, first with mail then by support on site what would the cost of the piece would be (item Emo go home white 2025).
I cannot even provide the ID because Emo has not been connected to the App since it is turned off.
If someone has suggestions thanks for the help.
Best regards
