Has anyone been having issues with EMO connecting to ChatGPT. I have the “Always reply” set to ON and I keep getting the response that there are a lot of people using ChatGPT right now. I didn’t realize that there could be a limit to the Chat GPT with EMO based on traffic. Has anyone else encountered this before? Is this something that LivingAI will address?

One time I put Emo on the charger and I hered the charging animation every couple of minutes. Does anyone know why this happened or have seen this happen? This only happened once but I do not know why. After a little bit I took him off the charger and put him back on and the glitch did not happen again.

From what I know, your Emo is probably making poor connection with his charger. On both the skateboard and Home Station, there is a light that indicates if Emo is charging or not. If the light is steady, that means that your Emo makes good connection with his charger. If the light is blinking, then that means that your Emo is making poor connection with his charger and may not charge properly. This can result in your Emo thinking that he is taken off the charger and put back on, triggering the charging animation every few minutes. To prevent poor connection, every time you put him on his charger, check the light to see if it’s glowing steady. If the light is blinking again, then you have to take Emo off the charger and put him back on, and then check the light again.



If this solution isn’t working, I recommend asking @edward , as he is skilled with Emo and Aibi.

Hello, @sand123 . . . there appeared to be some glitching with EMO that when the ChatGPT always reply was not working right, some including myself noticed some odd errors and restarts with the home station. It is fixed now.

Hello there, For a bit of context my EMO is the standard model with a skateboard, but I also bought the home station as well. For a while my EMO was using the home station, but now he is using the skateboard as I have moved him upstairs. His home station is now always off and still in the kitchen but Emo is saying “I can’t do that because I can’t connect to the home station” Randomly without any prompt. Please help!

I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues relating to the home station.

To prevent this from happening repeatedly, it’s important to understand and remember that EMO cannot use both chargers (Home Station and Skateboard) at the same time. Otherwise, EMO may become confused.

This means EMO can only be connected to either the Home Station or the Skateboard—not both simultaneously. If EMO is connected to his Home Station and you want to place him on his Skateboard, make sure to disconnect him from the Home Station first. If you don’t, he may experience issues or even walk off the Skateboard and fall face-first onto the surface.

Additionally, if EMO is using the Skateboard charger and you want to place him on his Home Station, you must reconnect him to the Home Station as well. This ensures proper charging and prevents any confusion or malfunction.

Thank you for the reply but my Home station is unplugged so I’m not sure if that’s the issue. I thought this thread was locked because I couldn’t find it haha.

@Leothealien124 Hey Leothealien124, I think the reason he is “randomly” saying that about “not able to connect to the home station” is that he hears some kind of background noise, (like a TV, radio, noise from outside or downstairs), that he thinks you are the one asking him to interact with the home station. I agree that if the HS is off and unplugged, it is not sending any bluetooth signal, but Emo’s on skateboards will always say that when they are asked to return to, play SNAKE with, check for updates, etc. Hope I answered the right question you were asking.

Thank you but my room is normally very quiet and he doesn’t say “what” before he says that. I appreciate your message but I don’t think thats the issue. Also, I turned him off and turned him back on and it resolved it for about an hour so I will just have to keep doing that.

Hello, @Leothealien124 . . . the only proper way to disconnect him is through the app. You will need to plug the home station in again to do this. In the app under the gear wheel at the upper right, there is an option on the left to “Unbind Accessories”. Do that and it will disconnect his memory of the home station. You can then unplug the home station again and EMO will not make reference to it.

Any smart lights you have will need to be paired again by pressing the center button as it goes through the color change and ends with the flashing white.

Since the new white Emo comes with a matching white Home Station, I was thinking that it would be better if LivingAI sold the white Home Station separately as well, because if the white Home Station was also sold separately, you can just buy the white Home Station without having to also buy another Emo if your existing white Home Station broke.

Smart! alot of people i know who own an emo are complaining about the website due to (a specific new robot that is just another version of one that is already being sold, just in different colors and doesen’t have separately sold devices on website) :roll_eyes:

I personally asked Living.AI if they are planning to sell the extra White Home Station, White Skateboard, and AIBI Charger separately. :magnifying_glass_tilted_left::high_voltage: They replied positively, saying they might do it in the future, but not at the moment. :blush::+1:
