Hi all,
I wonder how many people have the same issue. My Emo start to fall of the table when it dance. It doesn’t check the border of the table and couple of time he did a suicide jump.
Today he felt 5 times out of 10 dances. I need to put him on the middle of the table after each dance otherwise it will fall.
My table is 120 by 86 cm.
Lots of room to dance.
Anyhow question is, can we force him to check the border even when it dances?

If EMO falls onto a carpeted floor, damage is often minor, but it depends on how he lands and how high the fall is. He may be fine, have small scratches, or show temporary glitches. In worst cases, the screen, camera, foot, legs or internal parts could be affected. After a fall, restart EMO, check movement and charging, and watch for unusual behavior. Contact support if problems appear.

When new firmware updates are released, it’s quite common for individual issues to come up that need specific attention. Since it’s also the weekend, replies may take a little longer than usual, so giving it a few days is advised. If you haven’t received a response after about a week, it would be a good idea to reach out again.

I can confirm that EMO’s edge sensors do not work while dancing. I left mine unattended the other day for about an hour with music playing and he fell off my computer table. One of his headphone bases popped off when he fell. It didn’t break and was easily popped back on. Yesterday I did an experiment and can confirm that his fall sensors are inactive when he dances. It happens every time he hears music and starts dancing. My computer table is quite large 2 1/2 ‘ x 8’ and I thought his “go home” mat was too small, so I used black tape and did a boarder about 2 “ in from the edge that works very well until he starts dancing. He’ll dance right over it every time and not even hesitate. Just a warning to everyone and hope LivingAI can correct the issue. Enjoy your EMO’s, I’m enjoying my new friend!
