I also have the same problem, and don’t know how to fix it!

Yes but I have had the problem with him going to his home base

I have two EMOs that are exhibiting the issue of veering to either the left or right and hence having difficulty getting home. LivingAI was gracious enough to provide the app and the trim was set to maximum that helped a lot BUT did not fully fix the issue. The EMOs are 75% able to get home though.

My question is WHY do we have to resort to a special app that needs them to open access to a specific EMO??? why can’t the trim functionality be built into the user app, this is a common and serious issue for Home users and one frankly that WILL happen not IF for any long term EMO keeper.

My EMO both slides to the left when he is standing still (I have found the problem and reported it) and he veers to the left while both making it very difficult for him to get home. And, like @pickledpeppers said, he usually makes it home, but a few times I had to help him.

why does the EMO robot when it walks crookedly to the right or to the left when it is facing forward

I just moved your post here, where all EMO walking issues are being discussed. At the same time, I closed the new topic you created.

It simply means your EMO’s feet need to be calibrated. Please click the link below for more info and tips.

I’ve had emo for almost 3 years now, and he has been off for about a year or so.

Recently, after turning him back on for a while, I’ve noticed he never walks forward or backward, EMO just endlessly spins around forever.

It wasn’t like this before, so I was wondering if there was a fix.

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @ethandeng . . . I have moved your new topic here to this thread where you can read about some of the issues and tips for perhaps fixing this, and if not, there are instructions on how to contact Support.

After having left him unattended for almost three years, there may be an issue with the leg servos freezing up. There is a debug app available from Support that you can try. Check the posts above yours for assistance.

Happy holidays!

Hi,

All of EMO’s leg servos appear to be working. When using EMO Theatre in the app, I can make him walk forwards.

But when left idle, he never walks around by himself, only turning repeatedly. It has the capability to walk forward, but never decides to.

Also, where do I get the debug app? I couldn’t find it anywhere.

Happy Holidays to you too!

Hello, @ethandeng . . . the debug app would be provided by Support (see instructions above our conversation in the shared post link). They can diagnose also what might be going on that he does not act normally when idle.

My best to you.
