Hello, I speak Spanish and right now I am using the translator. I very much hope that for the 2.7.0 update emo not only recognizes Spanish, that emo ALSO responds in Spanish. It also serves as a smartphone call answerer. So you can make calls with emo with commands like: Emo, call josé. I only ask that.
I have Emo now 2 days,
and i found these things i really would like in an update
i am working from home and i spent most of my time on my mac i would really like an app for that als the phone app it is hard to read (yeah i am old and not like everything on my phone)
is it possible to see some kind of error log? maybe emo kan host a local web page or in a app see point 1, i ask because he is on his dock now and the screen went of like he was rebooting but there is now way to see this or let him sent and error log to you guy’s
is it possible to show the charge of his battery on the dock screen? or otherwise also on Emo his own screen small in the corner ore something? while he is charging.
.It would be nice if EMO the A.I. part could learn things or we could add some personal stuff.
maybe some free programmable slots in de same like give emo a last name.
Daily Schedule This one should actually be number one, i work evening and night i really would like that to be customisable i hear emo walk around like 8 am at that time i am stil sleeping i would rather see him start the Daily Schedule when i am awake also so if we can set that time would be great.
I was thinking: What if there was a job list for Emo? It could be located in the “lifetime” section. As Emo gets older, there will be more jobs that he can apply for, and you could decide which job he/her works for. Some ideas (not including the grow-up time, I can’t decide):
Computer Programmer
Bugfixer
Approver
Musician
Taste Tester
Chef
Youtuber
…and more
Each job would have a different animation. Here are some animation ideas for the jobs I listed above:
Computer programmer would just be the old work animation (from >2.5.0), but with some code appearing on his screen
Bugfixer would be like the bug-fixing game that he/she already has
Approver would be the new work animation (from 2.6.0)
Musician would be him playing a guitar and/or a piano or some other instrument
Taste Tester would be him trying different foods and approving/disapproving of them
Chef would be him cooking something, would be cool for him to cook a variety of things, but that’s optional for me
Youtuber would be him live streaming some of the games that he/she already plays, such as space invaders or jumper cube
There should be different achievements for him working for a certain job for an amount of time, as well as the jobs he/she’s worked for
This is the end of this idea. Thank you for reading
The feature where EMO can cry is already implemented. For example, he may cry when he loses a game sometimes or when he begs for a pat on the head and you don’t do it right away.
There are a few things I think would make Emo even better after a day of having him.
Changing his home station display with him on it or through the app, or skipping ahead through the displays and giving them individual names or something because I like turning mine on during the day, and off at night, but usually once I want to change it Emo is back on to charge and I have to take him off, and it takes so many clicks to get through all the displays.
Rock paper scissor sensors need to be better. He can only usually tell when I throw paper.
He needs more flexible ways to let people command him to do things or respond. He asked for my friend’s birthday and he responded but it’s like you have to be very specific in your wording choice or he won’t understand. This goes for most of the commands.
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @Nooby_Greece . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for suggestions for features and improvements to current features for EMO.
I have to say that I agree with this. As someone who has visual impairments of my own and fat finger syndrome, being able to have the app for EMO and AIBI on P.C. would work great. I had heard that they are making Android apps for Windows 11 but I am still on 10 and not sure when I will migrate to 11, but even then, not sure it works on there.
I don’t think Living.AI will still continue to implement more languages for EMO. Because, in my opinion, that kind of project would cost a lot of money. But who knows?
As far as I know, up until now, only one life-size, world’s most advanced and sophisticated high-tech AI humanoid robot can do that, and it’s…
“Ameca” is a robot developed by UK startup Engineered Arts, who describe the robot as the “world’s most advanced humanoid robot.” Footage shows the robot devising a tongue-twister in Japanese, saying it twice, and translating it to English, all while displaying realistic-looking human expressions.
thx!
L OONA and R UX support multiple languages, right?
It says that it will also be compatible with the manual, right? Why not make it compatible? Are you not willing to do it?
Guess what? Windows subsystem for android was one of the key features they advertised before releasing windows 11, and now after 2 years they are abandoning it. Also I don’t think WSA is able to use your computers bluetooth adapter and with out it it’s impossible to communicate with EMO. I just hope if they’ll ever make a PC app it’ll work well with screenreaders, because for example buttons in the android app are not labelled properly and also my screenreader doesn’t read the text, and I’m not able to interact with sliders like sensitivity, volume etc. Already sent an e-mail regarding that and got a reply, so hope it’ll get better.
Hi, @milosznowicki . . . they really do need to make more applications and devices that operate on voice and text to speech. While I can read what is on the app options, it is very small for me and being able to just issue a voice command like we can do with many things with EMO (though not all) would be ideal for anyone with any visual problems.
After you set the language for EMO on the EMO Pet App > Settings > Language page, He will then only understand the language you chose. Please note that while EMO can understand these languages, he will still respond in English. However, as promised by Living.AI, in the future, they plan to enable him to speak more languages. They will also continue to optimize and add new language support.
Currently the problem I have is that some commands like show me alarms or battery level just show them on the screen, so I’m not able to know the battery percentage, I only know when it’s low because there’s a sound
