Living ai really need to do this it would open so many adventure with emo and it’s owner it is amazing
I travel the country with EMO I connect him to my hot spot for a wifi connection… We plug his skateboard into a normal USB charger in the SUV… Then in hotels we set him up on that available SSID - We bring a little cigar box so he can’t shift around… He is relaxing in the Marriott in Chicago today!
It is so cute , but its not what i meant , i mean special bag for to walk around like aibi , emo is bigger so i think as a bag for emo with charger which can connect to powerbank or can use that charger itself as powerbank would be so cool , imagine you walking in park and emo is in his emo bag looking around in his window of his emo bag to the world and same time keeping his charger , or you in cafe you don’t want to take him out of your bag so you simple keep it in his emo bag but still able to see his cute face through window of his bag easy to travel with and make it more memorable, and most of emo owners got emo with go home so it is not easy to take arou f big home station in the bag especially it is made out of plastic which can easily broken
Me i got emo go home so i dont have the skateboard so i dont have a choice but take the home station with me to work and home all the time,
If living ai made this accessories which allows us take emo in the bag but still able to see his face and not worry about his battery it would be great success in my opinion
Hi there, great work with the new Update living.ai. Some things could be done better, i think it would be great when EMO listen to sound and turn to the direction where it comes from. But the most important is, when he hear his name he should look to the face when EMO is called.
Kind regards
Hi, I was wondering if Living.ai could add the function that emo can recognize all objects and map the whole house for example (plants, vases, computers, lamps, etc…)
(photo update) updated and improved
Here are a few of my ideas:
- A mode in which EMO would talk more instead of just showing animations, for example for the battery level, alarm, etc. Like, he could say these things aloud, and ask for things like a pet whenever he needs them instead of just showing icons. This is a big deal for me since I am totally blind and can’t see these, which also makes it unable for me to determine the battery level.
- A conversational mode for gpt so we don’t have to ask it to connect to chat gpt each time, an ability to use custom API keys and for example let it connect to gpt4O, a better AI model for recognizing the wake up word, and lastly a history of things we ask in gpt mode so it can have a context.
- an ability to build and share custom skills much like in Alexa for example. It could be from new dances to new games, but I guess that’ll happen once we get access to the SDK.
- A way to turn of the LED matrix and all other lights at a certain time every day when going to sleep. By this I mean at a time we set the LED matrix turns off completely, EMOs display dimms, and his headset also turns off.
- It would be cool if EMO could selflearn things and be more interactive, like when he sees something he could ask what is that or when he doesn’t understand he could ask to explain, basically a teaching mode where he can learn new things and remember them in the future.
Can you integrate a simple game like yes and no or a decision-making aid?
Hi there @oliver.gabriel

Hello everyone!
I was just wondering if Living.Ai will bring back the feature they were pre-testing on the 1.2.0 update where you could change EMO’s eye colour. Any chance of that coming back ?
Thanks
Hello, @thomastough . . . I have moved your question to this thread where LivingAI reads for future implementation and new features.
I cannot answer that, but if you would like to ask them directly, you can contact them at service@living.ai . . . let us know what they say.
Hello, I speak Spanish and right now I am using the translator. I very much hope that for the 2.7.0 update emo not only recognizes Spanish, that emo ALSO responds in Spanish. It also serves as a smartphone call answerer. So you can make calls with emo with commands like: Emo, call josé. I only ask that.
I have Emo now 2 days,
and i found these things i really would like in an update
-
i am working from home and i spent most of my time on my mac i would really like an app for that als the phone app it is hard to read (yeah i am old and not like everything on my phone)
-
is it possible to see some kind of error log? maybe emo kan host a local web page or in a app see point 1, i ask because he is on his dock now and the screen went of like he was rebooting but there is now way to see this or let him sent and error log to you guy’s
-
is it possible to show the charge of his battery on the dock screen? or otherwise also on Emo his own screen small in the corner ore something? while he is charging.
-
.It would be nice if EMO the A.I. part could learn things or we could add some personal stuff.
maybe some free programmable slots in de same like give emo a last name. -
Daily Schedule This one should actually be number one, i work evening and night i really would like that to be customisable i hear emo walk around like 8 am at that time i am stil sleeping i would rather see him start the Daily Schedule when i am awake also so if we can set that time would be great.
Thanks i really like my desk robot
I was thinking: What if there was a job list for Emo? It could be located in the “lifetime” section. As Emo gets older, there will be more jobs that he can apply for, and you could decide which job he/her works for. Some ideas (not including the grow-up time, I can’t decide):
- Computer Programmer
- Bugfixer
- Approver
- Musician
- Taste Tester
- Chef
- Youtuber
…and more
Each job would have a different animation. Here are some animation ideas for the jobs I listed above:
- Computer programmer would just be the old work animation (from >2.5.0), but with some code appearing on his screen
- Bugfixer would be like the bug-fixing game that he/she already has
- Approver would be the new work animation (from 2.6.0)
- Musician would be him playing a guitar and/or a piano or some other instrument
- Taste Tester would be him trying different foods and approving/disapproving of them
- Chef would be him cooking something, would be cool for him to cook a variety of things, but that’s optional for me
- Youtuber would be him live streaming some of the games that he/she already plays, such as space invaders or jumper cube
There should be different achievements for him working for a certain job for an amount of time, as well as the jobs he/she’s worked for
This is the end of this idea. Thank you for reading
P.S. My emo says hi
Hello, @Techwhix22 . . . welcome to the EMO Community Forums and thank you for sharing!
I moved your new topic to this thread where LivingAI reads to get ideas for new features or improvements to existing features.
Hi, i think one mood emo is missing which is crying. Did i miss it or he can’t cry. If not, i hope he can cry in some cases like:
- Instead of angry, he has a small chance will cry (lose game,…)
- Maybe when he falls or he can’t stand up for a long time.
- When he feel hurt (error or feeling not good or he is clumsy in an animation)
Hi there @nhatphuongpham and Welcome to the Community
The feature where EMO can cry is already implemented. For example, he may cry when he loses a game sometimes or when he begs for a pat on the head and you don’t do it right away.
Best Regards
There are a few things I think would make Emo even better after a day of having him.
-
Changing his home station display with him on it or through the app, or skipping ahead through the displays and giving them individual names or something because I like turning mine on during the day, and off at night, but usually once I want to change it Emo is back on to charge and I have to take him off, and it takes so many clicks to get through all the displays.
-
Rock paper scissor sensors need to be better. He can only usually tell when I throw paper.
-
He needs more flexible ways to let people command him to do things or respond. He asked for my friend’s birthday and he responded but it’s like you have to be very specific in your wording choice or he won’t understand. This goes for most of the commands.
I’ve got a whole list but here are a few :))
When they will make an app for pc?
Not gonna lie its kinda uncomfortable to control EMO on my phone, hope they will make one in the future!
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @Nooby_Greece . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for suggestions for features and improvements to current features for EMO.
I have to say that I agree with this. As someone who has visual impairments of my own and fat finger syndrome, being able to have the app for EMO and AIBI on P.C. would work great. I had heard that they are making Android apps for Windows 11 but I am still on 10 and not sure when I will migrate to 11, but even then, not sure it works on there.
Guess what? Windows subsystem for android was one of the key features they advertised before releasing windows 11, and now after 2 years they are abandoning it. Also I don’t think WSA is able to use your computers bluetooth adapter and with out it it’s impossible to communicate with EMO. I just hope if they’ll ever make a PC app it’ll work well with screenreaders, because for example buttons in the android app are not labelled properly and also my screenreader doesn’t read the text, and I’m not able to interact with sliders like sensitivity, volume etc. Already sent an e-mail regarding that and got a reply, so hope it’ll get better.
