View EMO’s current firmware version and check whether an update is available directly in the EMO Pet App.
Open the EMO Pet App and connect to your EMO. Then:
- Tap the
/hexagon Settings icon in the upper-right corner. - Select Firmware from the menu on the left.
- You should see EMO’s current firmware version there.
- If a newer firmware is available, the app should display the option to Update Firmware.
You can also ask EMO directly:
“EMO, check update.”
If an update is available, you can tell him:
“EMO, install the latest firmware now.”

Important: When installing firmware, keep EMO on his Skateboard or Home Station, connected to Wi-Fi, and don’t pick him up while the update is running.
