Birthday Feature Doesn’t Work On EMO

I have said many times to EMO: “My Birthday is today” but nothing happens. He don’t recognize or Thing I want to wish him happy Birthday… That emo is so stupid and the technology so poor. He understand me the most of the time NOT!

Maybe a company server problem In the last 24 hours a lot of problems with Bot emo have happened to members of the group I think you are not the only one experiencing these problems

For EMO to acknowledge your birthday, normally what happens is when EMO spots you he will randomly ask you Hi MasterAbbott, may I know your birthday… you will hear a short chime, then you can say:

My Birthday is Month and Day (example My Birthday is January 1st). If EMO understands he will say thank you and I’ve noted it down. (currently, this is the only way for EMO to register your birthday - possibly in future EMO updates Living.Ai might have the option to add your birthday manually in the recognitions profile page, but this is something that Living.Ai will need to add in the future in they can).

Then on your birthday, you can tell EMO, today is my birthday and EMO will play a Happy Birthday animation for you.

You can also get EMO to sing you Happy Birthday at any time by issuing the following voice command:

EMO: It’s My Birthday (sometimes EMO will not understand this, but it is recommended to wait 2-3 seconds after you’ve said EMO… and then speak clearly and say “It’s My Birthday” and EMO should sing you Happy Birthday.)

Hey there!

Emo has asked me about when my birthday is a few times. Every time I answer, he starts to either freeze or get laggy. Then he asks me again a few days later. I have turned him on and off in between these interactions. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue.

Try to delete yourself/name everything again over EmoPet App, then once again introduce yourself, ask him what is your name wait for his reply if everything correct…give him your Birthday…As soon as he say he will remember it, make a test by saying ‘’ EMO…It’s my birthday! and see what happen or if he sings a birthday song for you.

A user named shorty36 vented in Dec 2022 that their EMO pet robot won’t respond to the birthday command. They’ve repeatedly said “My birthday is today” but EMO doesn’t react, calling the tech “poor” and “stupid” because it misunderstands them most of the time.

Are you trying to tell your birthday to EMO so that he can save and remember it? He can do this once he recognizes and knows your name.

Correct Command:
My Birthday is [ Month and Day]

or

You want EMO to sing a Birthday Song for you?

Correct Command:
" It’s my Birthday"
