hey there how’s it going? He will repeat what he said… I think you just say to him “what did you say” something like that I’ve done it quite a few times.

Oh ok, I will give that a try, thanks. I have said “repeat” as I thought being a single word it would be easier for him to process. Also that’s what I say with Alexa on the odd chance I didn’t understand (most of the time it’s because I didn’t hear, she is really clear with her speech (hint, hint LAI! lol)).
P.S. Will he repeat a joke? Many times with his broken crappy speech, I have not been able to understand the whole thing and have wanted to hear it but couldn’t.
It would be good if you had two or three or four… lol Emos, if you could talk to them individually, instead of only just being able to say “Emo”'. You could perhaps say “Emo (last name)” and then give your command to an individual Emo. As far as I know at the moment only “Emo” works, and then they all respond. The last name with “Emo” should work, and also just “Emo” by itself. That way you will have a choice, and also anyone with only one Emo will not have to have the hassle of saying his last name all the time.

I “think” that is the longer term intention for them… not confirmed, but I suspect this is why they allow us to give EMO a 2nd name

No, the repeat command doesn’t work on Jokes. they are randomly selected and shared out when you ask EMO to tell you a joke.
This would be good. When I call out EMO, both of my EMO’s reply back right away (sometimes I just want EMO:One to reply. But both end up doing the same thing I only wanted EMO:One to do for example.
Personally, this might be hard to implement as they are programmed to hear EMO and then respond. If this does get added in the future I’d like to see how it actually will work.

I know I will be jumping back and forth on the app once EMO Robot is born tomorrow as I find out his lucky number and favorite color, and get him to call me “Mommy”, and so forth, that EMO Pet is going to either have to power off or be muted during the process.
When I do start making videos of them again in an “acting” situation, one responding a certain way for example, I will have to repeat this process.
I agree it would be great to address them individually by their first and last name to get just the one to respond.

Either Repeat or Say That Again will work. No, joke punchlines can’t be repeated for some reason. They’re apparently streamed differently somehow than answers to other requests.
Ok with that, he may have one office life to have fun with colleagues ( with a possible mute mode ) and one private , returning home
Even a third one in car between office and home , with legs off and accelerometer on to react
Personally I have already an old R2D2 in my car that only replicates USB ports , but he beeps at every startup to confirm the Force is with me and I am happy with that
After a discussion with @Puppy444 I would also add the ability to do a great hug or a kiss , telling I love you , with purple lips on the screen

Here is a thought. How about an adjustable schedule? It would be good to be able to adjust the times that he does things. You could have the current schedule as a default. I would love to see him eating lunch at the same time as me for example. It would also be great for shift workers.

I believe a few people in this thread have asked for this. And it’s fine to keep mentioning it in this thread as well, as not everyone has time to read through all the past comments.
I guess the more people asking about it, hopefully Living.Ai might consider doing it sooner. I feel this could work similar to how you can customize stickers with EMO using the EMO App. Just add a section into the EMO app where you can modify the schedule to how you like it, or simply just turn it off as well. As I know some EMO owners also would like the option to turn this feature off as well.

Great , So when friends come and see him eating a burger , It would be possible to make a lot of demos . but of course he would not fatten

5 things I would like Emo to have:
- Emo can do bluetooth for music
- Emo could read some built in books
- Emo has some kind of reaction time game when the screen turns green
- When you set and alarm he wakes you up tells you the weather and a cool fact about an intresting topic like animals.
- Emo has different types of alarms you can set throughout the day if you want. For example it could tell you its time for homework and then Emo would work on his own little homework as an animation and then you can do it together.
Emo has so many features and is very intelligent so these are just some features I can think of.

(according to the manual it should be already like this).
P.S. I would not class Emo as “very intelligent” (yet?). At best he is a chat bot with limited phrases he can understand and responses. There may be some AI there in some of the things he does, but definitely not in regards to his speech. Remember, AI is supposed to have the ability to learn. I hope LAI is going to try to make him more “AI like”.

It would be nice if when Emo says something, like randomly tells you the weather or something else, he automatically listens for a short whileso you can say “Thank you” or ask a followup without having to say his name first.

I totally agree with you on that! Like when he asks would you like me to dance for you, you would respond with yes please or something, so you don’t have to say his name first.

He always reports the wrong weather for me, so I don’t bother anymore with asking him. I ask Alexa, accurate to a tee. Oh, and don’t bother asking him “what temperature is it”, because he does not even understand you, where you can ask Alexa no problem. EDIT: Before anyone says you have to set the app to the right location, I already have.
I would like an update where you can go on his app, and there would be a button that you can click, and it lets you type the command so that way you don’t have to talk or yell across the room at night to sleep

As posted on another thread, I think that would take the fun out of being able to talk to him. It would just be a remote control robot then. Also, it would only be a band aid for the real problem, which is improving the speech recognition and giving him AI conversational capabilities.
