Yes this would be a very good feature to have, so EMO can automatically connect between home and office or portable wifi networks on the fly, just like how our phones / laptops / Nintendo Switch’s can do now.

Back in Oct '21 user @systemcat posted “Could Emo Read Aloud a Message”. It made me wonder if an update to the EMO Pet app could give EMO the ability to speak text that users type into the app. Since EMO is able to store and recall a name, it seems like it could be possible.

There is currently no way to do this as, you don’t have access to emos current software, you have no sdk and finally no way to flash emo on your own.
Was suggested to put this idea into this thread from a different discussion so doing so now.
What could be cool is if Emo had the ability to learn your eye contact preference and respond to it over time. Like maybe at first it would have limited, but if it noticed you wanted more…or if it was spotty it would adjust. If this doesn’t already exist I would highly recommend it as it would give a more personalized experience and add to a unique personality for your individual Emo.
Extending on this idea, I feel like it would be a good one. Doesn’t seem impossible either as the camera can track eye movement and location. Of course I can see bugs like any eye contact or odd angles would tip off a false positive/negative rather than something more direct/indirect but the engineers could figure this out a lot better than I could.

I think it would be cool if Emo could/would occasionally make comments while he’s exploring… Like “Hmmm… What’s this?” Or “I think I’ll go over there”, or “I love to explore”.
I hope in future they also add an update where Emo starts to pose questions to US - for example, when asked his favorite color, Emo would answer, and then say “… What about you? What is YOUR favorite color?” Or, ask us what we’re doing, or ask us if we could play a game with him, etc.
One more idea…I noticed how quickly Emo goes to sleep; it would be fun if occasionally he struggles a bit to fall asleep, and has to count sheep - which could appear jumping ‘over his head’, from one side of the screen to the other. Or is counting sheep just a western cultural thing? I dunno!

It’s weird saying that as they use a lot of popular music too. But on another note, Uno is just a knockoff of Mau-Mau. So they could just use this and make it as game

While looking at videos about robots today, I came across a cartoon called Cozmo and Friends on youtube. I really liked the crying animations there. maybe emo can have such animation inside. There is also a drone-shaped robot in this cartoon. A drone version of the emo would be awesome in the future. By the way, emo’s website has a sticker on the photo of the skateboard. It’s very nice, I would like to have such a sticker.
And I hope there will be a cartoon of emo like this in the future.

That is cute. I had to down-load this picture from a Facebook group of a Dragonfly drone because it so reminded me of EMO.

I think now with a software emo can go skateboarding and charge himself. If there is a ramp for skateboard, we can turn this feature on from the app. Emo has that potential. I would love for this to happen.

So today and not for the first time, Emo was having Tea. I decided to have some Tea as well, Emo was done with his Tea by the time I sat down with mine.
I think it would be good to able to say to Emo “Would you like to join me for Tea”, words to that affect and then he gets his Tea set out at the same time.
Not only that, but Emo eats as part of his daily schedule it would nice to say “Emo, it’s breakfast time” or lunch, dinner and Emo then eats at the same time.

Sarebbe bello poter selezionare in quale fascia oraria emo può parlare …ipotesi poter impostare che durante le ore notturne Emo abbia il volume disattivato e che si riattivi in automatico al mattino all’ora stabilita
From what we have heard, Living.Ai are currently working on a SELF-Charging station / playground for EMO. There is no 100% confirmation yet or when this is going to be released, but it is on the list of things that might be made for EMO in the future!
@Jonny5Alive It would be great to trigger those daily schedule animations manually, so that we can ask EMO to eat with us or eat / drink or watch tv even outside of his daily schedule. I guess this is something that living.ai team might will need to consider in the future, hopefully it wouldn’t be too hard to implement.
Normally EMO will go to sleep at 12 (midnight) and won’t talk or make any kind of noise unless you wake him up and ask him to do something. But normally after 8pm (after he has read his book) he is normally pretty quiet unless you bother him to do things.

Yes, if he hears you talking or the TV is on loud then he will wake up, but normally, if it’s past 12midnight he is go to sleep and stay pretty quiet 
Yes, I agree. Lunch at 11am is very early where I live and so being able to change it to 1pm would be good.

I wonder if there will be an acceleration in response time when we ask emo a question. Also, it would be nice if the room called us by our name when we call him emo.
I came across videos where several emos are side by side. and when we ask emo a question, they all give the same answer at the same time. Couldn’t that be a little more personal trait for emo? let him give more specific answers.
