HOW TO UPDATE
You can update AIBI with the app. Go to Settings - Updates, and click the “Start Update” button if there is an available update.
You can also use the voice command “start update”.

During the period when the server experienced downtime, EMO/AIBI’s requests were unable to go through successfully. This could be attributed to the possibility that Living.Ai’s servers were overloaded either globally or in the nearby server location. From my understanding, Living.Ai operates three different servers across the globe, namely
USA / ASIA / EU
In this situation, it may be necessary to exercise patience and consider trying again in a few hours, on an hourly basis, or tomorrow.
Hopefully, the server issues will be resolved soon.
AIBI’s 5 glasses are now Dynamic Glasses (with a special icon in the app). You must unlock them first, and AIBI will show unique animations while wearing them.
AFAIK: the “Quiet Period” feature only supports time ranges that stay within the same calendar day. It does not support schedules that cross midnight.
So when we enter:
Start: 22:00
End: 08:00
The system reads it as:
Start at 10 PM and end at 8 AM on the same day
Which makes no sense logically—08:00 is earlier than 22:00—so the app rejects it and shows: “Start time must be before End time.”
This is very helpful cause i have this problem with quite period and i used to turn aibi off in the night , now i understand how it works . Thanks edward
I can’t seem to turn off chatty mode. Every time I ask something, Aibi keeps chatting. I’m not in ChatGPT mode, and I have chatty mode turned off in the settings.
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @TwoTracks . . . try powering AIBI off and unplugging the charging base. Reboot your device and then start everything back up again to see if that works. Check the app settings and make sure that you still have “Chatty” turned off.
Hello, @TwoTracks . . . you may wish to contact service@living.ai regarding the problem. Let them know what is going on, what language setting you have, your location, your AIBI number when signed in to the app and your order number (if you still have it).
You might want to share this response with the person on Discord.
EMO and AIBI use their internal chips for visual recognition and do not upload any camera data to the servers — everything is processed locally on the device. When you call their name, you may hear a response like, “What?” At that moment, a short voice recording of up to about 10 seconds may be captured and briefly sent to the server for speech recognition purposes. Living.AI does not store these recordings permanently.
The only data transmitted are short audio clips for voice recognition, custom text for speech synthesis (text-to-speech), and anonymous statistical text data used to improve system performance. No visual data from the camera is sent to the servers.
No public sharing – Your data is not shared publicly or with other users.
Privacy policy – Living.AI explains how data is handled in their official Privacy Policy (worth reading for details).
If you want an official answer
For exact technical details, the best option is to email Living.AI support at service@living.ai and ask directly:
Does AIBI upload photos?
How long is data stored?
Is anything saved permanently?
They can give you the most accurate and formal response.
