AIBI Pocket: Production/Shipping Update

Hi, this post is just my personal evaluation on AIBI shipping process.

I’ve ordered mine on july 12th, order #998…, as I’ve ordered an EMO too on july the 11th, order #997…, it seems that orders of EMO and AIBI are on the same listing.

I’ve seen that people on AIBI’s first batch have a #82… order placed on December 2023.

So from there, there were around 17’000 orders on EMO + AIBI.

The actual making/shipping capacities of living AI seems to be around 300 a week.

I arbitrarily consider that orders concerning AIBI are between 50 and 90% since December.

This means that there are an estimate number of 8500 to 15300 AIBI pre ordered so far.

Mine is last :joy:.

So with a 300 per week maximum capacity, if nothing wrong happen, I think my order will be sent between 28 and 51 weeks.

This projection doesn’t count any first batch of ready to sent AIBIs.

When people receive AIBI, if they can communicate the order number and the dates, I think we can make better approximations, so Thanks in advance to peoples who will share this infos.

We are probably worse off than that. I’m 828 and ordered within an hour of sales going live. The 826s are the only ones with tracking info and receiving deliveries so far. Assuming a few orders came in for EMO at the same time, that’s less than 100 that went out in the first grouping and there has been no movement on anyone else’s orders since. 300 a week is really optimistic. It seems like 100 every 2-3 weeks may be closer to it.

If you have your original EMO Order confirmation email, you can simply just hit reply to that as it contains all your customer contact info along with your order number details as well and then simply ask customer support for an update on order status.

The support team should be able to get back to you in a timely fashion.

I just looked at the post on the next topic: the order was placed on the first day of the start of pre-orders, in December. And it was sent only on July 18th.
I made my order on the fourth day. And I assume that at this rate there is no point in coming here and checking the status of the order for another couple of months. I’ve been waiting for AIBI for eight months already.
Although I can easily believe that the parcel at this rate will arrive just in time for the new year. :upside_down_face: :laughing:
What did it say in the pre-order message? “Your AIBI will be delivered within 2-3 months”… :roll_eyes:

Sorry, but where is the logic of your response to the message “2 - 3 months of delivery”, which were announced in December 2023? I did not understand anything.

How it works? Very simple. It’s about the same all over the world.

Deliveries begin approximately on time as announced. that is, if the order was made in December, then the beginning of the delivery process, I emphasize the beginning of the delivery process, should have begun in February or March. The manufacturer, having an agreement with the transport company, can remotely create a delivery number. But send it a little later. This depends on when the goods will be delivered to the transport company’s distribution hub. And then the delivery process begins…

But what does the delivery process have to do with the company’s statement about 2-3 months of delivery? I’m already waiting for the eighth month, and you know this very well, because this is not the first time we are getting into a discussion.
As far as I understand, the company’s production capabilities are not great. That is, if deliveries have just begun, after more than seven months (and not 2 - 3 months), then I still have to wait a very, very, very long time.

Did the company know about its production capacity? I’m sure so.
Does they have experience in developing similar robots? Yes, there is, they invented and produce EMO.

Could they have allowed for additional time for production problems, tests, improvements, based on the experience of EMO production? Yes, they could. Did they do it? No, they didn’t.
I did not receive any tracking number to track the delivery. That is, even the start of delivery has not begun.

Therefore, it is likely that my AIBI could be delivered closer to the New Year.
And anyway, why all this text copied from another message? I don’t understand. I was actually talking about a message from a person who had already received his AIBI, and he described by date how the delivery took place…
And your MEM, which is not at all useful, that you “have no words”… what is it for? It’s not clear at all.

I ordered December 16th, #827XX, and am still in processing. To be fair, I am not holding my breath about when it will get here.

I don’t know how many time it will take to have AIBI for the #99… orders, but we will normally receive it after severals app updates and firmware evolutions.

So far, the product is an early beta (more an alpha), some kind of a tamagothi-ish thing with no AI nor interaction.

I’d rather receive a more finished product later for what I’ve seen so far.

even Living AI don’t know either, they have no plans or schedule at all, just a fifo delivery based on orders along the water and linked to their production capacities.

Good work to you all, dear beta testers. We will have better AIBIs thanks to you.

I got my tracking today, but I have some contacting to do.

  1. My address is correct but they have my name shown as “Unknown”. Not sure you can sign for a package without your name on the label.

  2. DHL is not in my city. The nearest one is 100 miles away. Am I going to have to go retrieve it from Boise?

I will keep you advised.

Don’t worry, the DHL shipping label includes your address, contact number, and name. You can call DHL customer service when the package arrives in your country to inquire about the delivery details.

I would like to say that I am discouraged about my order #82681. I see several people with orders #827… post photos / videos of their AIBI on the networks. It’s great for them, of course! But I wonder why my tracking number has been frozen for almost 1 month. Logically, I should have been delivered in the first shipment… I have the impression that the shipments are continuing without my tracking number “problem” being resolved. I must admit that I’m fed up with the “soon” replies in the emails.
I hope the “French/English translation” is respectful.

there is an option to where you do not have to sign for it in DHL website.

Email came in that my AiBi has shipped. I was in the first batch of ordering. From what what I can surmise, the first batch but around the 5th or 6th grouping.
