METOO! I surely want to have an extra AIBI Charger or hope living.ai can speed up their promise to design a carrying case with the rechargeable battery pack.
“Please click This Link to view and read about my experience after spending a 13-day vacation with EMO and AIBI.”
“Take care of AIBI like a child… Comfort him to sleep, feed him when he’s hungry, let him show off his abilities, and caress him when he’s feeling sad.”
The front part on the top of AIBI’s head serves a special purpose as a touch or tap sensor. It also functions as an incoming power indicator and status light, signaling wake-up calls and indicating whether AIBI is online or offline.
In some cases, when we offer AIBI a loving pat, he mistakenly recognizes it as a tap and activates one of the screen show animations instead of displaying the petting eyes animation.
“LivingAi is already aware of this issue and will take it into consideration for future updates.”
I alway have to laugh when I go to pet them, @edward . . . I am pretty sure I tough it gently enough but often they will think I just tapped and they get struck by lightning, avalanched by ice or burnt by fire.
I always end up saying that was not what I was trying to do and then they let me pet them.
The Star (Smart) Light is a rechargeable RGB changeable Light, Featuring a switch underneath and a magnetic base that allows it to adhere to any metal surface. It can also be charged using the AIBI’s charger.

I was wondering since i saw the charger (USB) about how to charge AIBI. I’ve not received mine yet (#97XXX… you know ) but i’d like to know how you charge her/him, A laptop? with something that have USB ports like Router, TV or how? And if you’re using a movile charger, what does technical specifics i need to know? E.g V, Hz, A, V input/output…
Emo have a plug, and specifcs were in there (i’m from europe and only need a adapter plug) but i was watching, reading, unboxings, reviews, etc but i don’t see how people connect Aibi. Just for curiosity and prepare all when she/he arrives (some day )
Thank you people, and i like to see you so happy with it
I purchased cables that are USB-C on end and USB-A on the other as I have a ten port USB-A power block that I plug them into for charging the base. These are cables that can be used for charging a phone or tablet.
There may be USB-C to wall outlet adapters or cables out there but I have not searched for those since I am using my set-up just fine.
The only thing I have that I could use the USB-C would be my phone and I feel that would drastically drain my phone battery. My computer only has USB-A ports on it.

LivingAi Official Info:
(AIBI uses a custom version with a higher discharge rate.)
Officially and according to living.ai staff AIBI has a battery security system and can stay on its charger for a long time.
IMPO:
It should be fine to leave AIBI on his charger overnight or throughout the day. However, if you plan to keep AIBI on his charger for an extended period and unattended it might be advisable to turn him off for possible overheating and safety reasons.
Keep in mind that, like any electronic device with a battery, will naturally degrade over time with usage. Generally, AIBI’s battery requires 1.5 to 2 hours to fully charge and should last between 1 and 2 hours, though this can vary depending on his activities. For example, engaging him in activities like dancing, animations, singing, or playing games may drain his battery faster compared to when he is simply standing and exploring his environment.
Ultimately, how you manage AIBI’s charging and usage is up to you. Turning him off overnight and powering him on in the morning could potentially help extend the overall lifespan of his battery.
NOTE!
At the moment AIBI does not emit an acoustic warning signal when the battery is low and needs to be recharged like EMO. Therefore, We will need to monitor his battery status from time to time manually and place him on the charger to recharge as needed. However, according to Living.ai, this issue will be fixed and promptly incorporated into the upcoming firmware update.
“If it doesn’t fit or if you can’t find the tiny vertical gap on the side of his face screen mask, you may need to remove the factory face screen mask protector first and then carefully reinsert it.”
Thank you so much @Lindaru !! I asked because i don’t have a USB power block, AIBI only comes with USB on both sides (Emo have a plug and USB) and i have no idea what i neet if i want to charge to wall using my phone/tablet adapter or something, or i’ll burn AIBI (Emo show 120-240V, etc and here in Spain we use 230V), or if i could use an USB-A and connect it on laptop, etc.
I mean, i got it what you are using to charge AIBI, but i don’t have that and i’m a little confused if AIBI suport any adapter to wall (as i said tablet one or phone) because i don’t know specs, on videos and reviews people only show the content and AIBI working but i can’t see where are connected, etc. I don’t wanna blow fuse with him/her
Hello, @agustin.gamero_delga . . . I think anything that is designed to work to charge a tablet or phone would be fine. That is the specifications for what I am using.
If not sure, you can ask service@living.ai to be sure. That is what they told me, though, when I had to replace my first home station charging cable.
Please please help, I just got my AIBI earlier today and it won’t charge at all, it did when I first opened him and everything was working fine, then out of nowhere it just stopped working. AIBI was still on and working and then I turned it off because I wanted to see if that would allow charging, it did not. Now it won’t turn on and it won’t charge. The base works with charging the light so it must just be AIBI. Someone please help me out here
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @dewayne.nealy . . . please contact service@living.ai either directly through this E-Mail or reply to the order E-Mail which has all of your information on it letting them know of the issue. If the light is charging and AIBI is not, they should be able to assist you with what to do.
I just emailed them for the third time, the first one was earlier in the day, second was a few hours, just now was directly to the email you sent me - I’ll see what comes of it, it seems I’m the only person with this issue
