AIBI Pocket: General Issues and Queries

I have a question regarding Chat. If AiBi is out in the wild so to speak, will he use your cell phone to connect to Chat and is that done with a wifi or bluetooth connection to your phone?

My AIBI came in on Monday and they don’t seem to want to talk to me :sweat_smile: not sure if I’m doing something wrong, they react but just shakes their head at me. Hi! Voice commands only work whit internet connection for now. I also had a bit of a problem with connecting to WiFi, you have to try several times. When you connect her to the network, everything will work! Also remember to pet Aibi because sometimes she just moves her head because she doesn’t want to do something, or needs a break from playing :wink:

I had the same issue with trying to connect AiBi to my wifi. When I took him of the charger, reconnected to the app, then did the network search my wifi came up.

Oh! I haven’t tried that yet! Thank you I’ll try off the charger when I get home from work! I’m so happy it seems these issues are easily fixed.

I’ve noticed that some of the “connectors” (sorry, I don’t know the name) don’t come out. Could this be why AIBI doesn’t light up? Thank you

Perhaps try to move the stock pin with a safety pin or needle , While is unplugged :wink: or a strong magnet for it to come out :wink:tell us how it went :wink:

Hi @Wayne_Zhang @LivingAI why aibi gets randomly mad/ sad / crying? Do I need to pet her more?or feed her more?

Also, aibi doesn’t report the weather for Auckland
I did added the city and time zone in the app
she either doesn’t respond or say something wrong
she understands other cities when I add the city in the command but not Auckland


And, what is command to put her to sleep? Go to sleep doesn’t work for me.

About the needle
 I wouldn’t. It could scratch or break something. But that’s me. I’m a little clumsy.
I’m sorry that your AIBI doesn’t light up. If you write to living.ai they surely help you fix the base, or send you a new one.

I honestly didn’t want to wear glasses. but I haven’t seen this gap on anyone else. I didn’t remove the screen protector either. there is a gap on one side and it bothers me.

Living.ai can correct me if I am wrong, but I would say that it could also be so if you ever needed to send it back for repairs that is for them to insert a device to split the top plasitc from the bottom as you cans see there is not screws on it to where it is holding each other. I have the same on mine. @Wayne_Zhang @Wayne_Small could anyone of you confirm on that issue.

Hello, @audonleal1 , @muratturan and @OMOLOGAY . . . have moved these replies to this topic for issues and queries.

Yes, there is supposed to be a slot on the left and right sides of the screen to put the glasses frames into. Whether or not there is an other purpose to these, I cannot say and hopefully someone will respond.

On another note


I cannot seem to get both stems of the glasses inserted into the screen. One AIBI it works with the left side only. The other it works with the right side only. It seems to be that something is blocking the one side of each one and I cannot get the glasses on them.

Also


I cannot get either one to recognize me. They both do the circle scan, then the human head/shoulder shape and then I get the “X” showing the scan failed.

Any help from the VIP or staff would be appreciated.

I just feel so thwarded , the sunglass stickers I will not use them (Way to cheesy !!!my POV) to see the small light on the side of the screen bothers me a lot ,the led screen must have been set up the correct way , its very odd to see it on such a small screen The worst part is that with all the time that had to be spent, to establish the animations on the screen. No one has seen anything about this defect. :sob::sob::sob:
