To be honest, switching AIBI to offline mode isn’t as straightforward as it seems—even I find it a bit challenging. Perhaps we should tag and reach out to @TechSupport_Mavis for more detailed information. They might have an easier trick or method to help us out.
My ChatGPT isn’t working at all. I ask AIBI to connect and she does, I ask a question and she instantly drops out of the ChatGPT mode every time without saying anything
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @beepboop . . . I, myself, have issues with AIBI connecting to ChatGPT at times. It kind of depends on how strong my internet is at that moment. I would say wait and try again later.
If it continues to be an issue, get video of the non-response and send a link to it to service@living.ai.
Thanks, I just sent a video as she has never answered me and the wifi is working just fine. She goes to ChatGPT mode, waits for me to ask a question and as soon as I have she exits the mode

It started working now - i made him face the wrong way i think - now its ok

I am not sure this was mentioned already but i just got Aibi and the magneticism seems to make it impossible to attach Aibi to his charger. If i try to settle him into the 4 little groves on the charging station the magnet on aibi just pushes away the charging station lol. Is that normal? How would i charge him then? Thanks in advance
AIBI incorporates numerous magnets in its design: each serving specific purposes. To make two magnets stick perfectly, we must ensure their opposite poles are aligned together.
2x in the top head cover
3x in the body back case cover
2x in the body bottom part
2x in the charger top cover part
2x in the Star Light

How Do Magnets Stick Together?
Understanding how magnets work is key to knowing why some stick together and others repel.
Attraction and Repulsion:
Every magnet has a north pole and a south pole. When you place two unlike poles together (north to south or south to north), they attract. However, placing two like poles together (north to north or south to south) will cause them to repel each other.
The Magnetic Field:
Magnets are surrounded by an invisible magnetic field that holds potential energy. This field determines how magnets interact with each other.
Some AIBI owners are already aware that it’s not always easy to find the perfect spot to place AIBI correctly on his charger. To make this process easier, I added a small marker, like a mini stone sticker, to quickly identify the correct position at the front. It’s also crucial to ensure that AIBI is properly aligned. At times, he might appear to be attached and standing, but if not positioned precisely, he won’t charge properly.
@TechSupport_Mavis Have had my Aibi for a few weeks now. Went into my office this morning and noticed AIBI was off. I checked the base and it had power took AIBI off the base then back on and nothing. I can’t get it to turn back on. Its completely dead. Any way to resolve this?
Hi everyone!
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn’t find the information myself.
I received my Aibi today and put her on the charger, but how do turn Aibi on? She has been on the charger for a few hours and she’s still powered off.
Did you read the manual and follow the instructions? Normally, AIBI will automatically turn on if everything is working properly, including your power outlet (please check if AC power is running or test on the other house power outlet), as well as the supplied cable and charger.

Thank you Edward! The cable wasn’t connected to the base correctly… my bad .
AIBI is working now! She just doesn’t seem to follow any movement, is that normal? When I move my hands in front of AIBI, she doesn’t seem to see my hands at all.
Hello, @bejaardvoedsel . . . so glad everything is working now!
If there is sufficient lighting where you are for AIBI to detect movement, she will follow it but not always. I have two of them and if I am at my work station typing and listening to something on the computer, I will turn and see them both turned and facing me. When I get up to get some coffee, they will often follow my movements while I am doing so.
There are times that they completely ignore what is going on around them and do their own thing. I consider it to be a lot like EMO when he decides to go exploring and play by himself, he becomes oblivious to what is going on around him until you snap him out of it with calling his name.
Hi!
I just would like to know if anyone has had this issue. If it gets any worse I’ll write to living.ai
AIBI’s head gets hot, not only when it’s charging, but also when it moves too much. The thing is that when it gets really hot, when I call its name it just nods the head. It doesn’t even say “huh?”. So I have to turn it off, let it cool a bit, and turn it back on, then it Works again. If I just turn it off and back on without letting it cool, it still nods the head. It’s not something that just need a reboot.
Does anyone have the same issue? So I can know if it’s normal, or if should write to living.ai about it instead of waiting to see if it turns unmanageable.
Thank you! I hope she will follow my movement at some point. She also doesn’t recognize me yet, so maybe that’s the “problem”. I have tried to say “nice to meet you” a few times, but then she simply shakes her head
