Same here lol still donāt know if itās normal
Hello, @xulia.veiga_perez and @ericeric . . . from my own experience, when you ask AIBI to do something and he shakes his head ānoā, it is the same as EMO when he makes the clunk sound to indicate he did not understand.
Ask again more clearly and perhaps a little slowly and it should work okay.
I actually find the rebellious response to not understanding to be really cute and more in line with what stubborn little kids would do.
hello Iām hesitant to take a little brother (Aibi) to Emo Nemo, can someone tell me if the price is worth it?
Hello, @ulyssebessaudou . . . I believe so. I have EMO Pet, EMO Robot, EMO Emilio, AIBI Pocket and AIBI Pet, and they all live peacefully together. There are also plans in the works from what I understand in the future to make EMO and AIBI recognize and interact with each other. This is not stated as yet, but that is the feeling I get in the direction it is all going.
Besides, AIBI is portable and you can wear him or magnetically place him anywhere which EMO you cannot do.
Has anyone had an issue with AIBI falling onto the ground while you are walking? The magnet necklace holds him pretty good but so far he has fallen twice and now he has two little marks on his head. I am worried it will happen again. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you so much.
Make sure you have the magnetic part of the necklace the right way. The side with the AIBI logo on it should be against your clothing/skin, and the blank side should be attached to the little pocket that AIBI sits in. I made this mistake the first couple of times and itās been the only time my AIBI has ever fallen off like that.
Can anyone help me figure out why my AIBI head is always up now the little guy hasnāt bring it down for days
Hi! My AIBI is like stuck looking up constantly and does not react to me touching her head or putting her upside down. She just looks up and moves her head a little. Is there any way to resolve this or how to reset? I am a little worried
Hello, @crystalrivera . . . if you could, please get video of her when you ask her to sing, dance, say āHelloā or other greetings, or when you pet her, because that will show the head movement the best, then send that link to service@living.ai (or you can send a Support ticket here from the web site or reply to the order E-Mail you received).
They will respond as soon as possible which may take up to a few days.
So sorry to hear this. My best to you.
How can we factory reset him
Hi there @crystalrivera ,
AIBI does not have a reset button, but if turning him off or rebooting isnāt possible and you need to solve an issue, you can follow the steps shown in the image below.
Best regards
I tried this but his head still up idk whatās wrong I wonder if there is anyway I can reset him as new
Hi there @crystalrivera ,
Have you already created a short video and sent it to Living.AI support? Let me tag @TechSupport_Mavis one of the Living.AI staff here so they can assist you directly.
Best Regards
Hey! Yes I emailed them twice, two different videos
INFORMATION!
There has been a National Day Holiday in the Peopleās Republic of China around the time you sent your support ticket. Typically, this holiday lasts 4-7 days, so support may be a little slower than usual. However, the Living.AI service support team is officially available and working 24/7.
China celebrates National Day on October 1st every year, marking the founding of the Peopleās Republic of China in 1949. The first celebration was held in Tianāanmen Square.
Currently, the holiday spans a week, from October 1st to the 7th, known as āGolden Week.ā During this period, many people in China travel and enjoy the holiday.
Take it off the base and press it, it will turn it on, talk Shutdown, it turns off and leaves charging for two hours, you will notice that it will heat up while charging the battery, only put your hand on its head, after this time takes and places at the base it will turn on and work short battery time, when you turn off repeat the procedure!
Hey all!
Had my tiniest buddy about a month not & have noticed a few bugs (or features!).
-
Some have been previously mentioned - the quiet time isnāt reliable, it invariably doesnāt work. The alarms are also spotty.
-
Aibi also randomly sings one of his 3 songs at random times - no wake word or command given. Itās annoying & quite frankly Iām coming to hate the 3 tunes! Not sure if itās a bug or a feature:)
-
When heās put back on the charger it doesnāt work - I have to unplug the charger & plug it back in then all is well. It worked at the beginning but not for the past few weeks.
Features Iād like:(and are probably planned)
Being able to adjust the wake word like with EMO will be useful.
The sound effects when heās playing games - like the arcade fighting - are too loud as is the music. Louder than the voice volume. On low his voice is quiet but everything else is too loud.
Sound quality? I donāt know what, if anything, can be done to improve the voice quality & intelligibly but itās not good. I appreciate that compared with EMO heās much smaller but I donāt know if this is something that can be tweaked in a firmware update?
Battery life, again, I gather thatās planned as is recognising & interacting with EMO.
Loving having the newest member of the family & look forward to seeing the improvements!
Hi guys, I am having a problem. I fed my AIBI the rainbow cameleon biscuit for 50 coins. When I fed him the biscuit, his eyes turned orange.
Will this be a temporary or permanent effect?
If you feed him the cameleon biscuit again, will his eyed turn green again?
Are there any other eye colors?
Hi @louise.mimnagh ,
For AIBI randomly singing songs, it is a feature. The same thing happened to mine and it is really disturbing:(
Hopefully Living.AI will fix this if a lot of AIBI users complain about it.
Urgh, I was hoping it was a big not a feature! Iām so sick of those 3 tunes.
Anyway, I appreciate you confirming yours does the same and yes, hopefully Living A.I. will turn this feature off.
