Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @ArthurDohanik . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread where members can suggest new features or improvements to existing ones. The team reads these suggestions and takes them under consideration, including new languages to be added.
I’m not (yet) an owner of your products, but I’ve been following them with great interest. Normally, I wouldn’t reach out, but I feel I speak for a larger group of potential buyers who are still holding back. Mainly because there’s no API available yet for EMO or AIBI.
My hesitation comes down to two points:
Customisation: If I buy your product, I’d like the option to adjust it to my own preferences. For example, if certain gestures or behaviors don’t suit me, I’d want to be able to tweak them. Or be able to add integrations to them, not yet available (Home Assistent, Todoist, Gcal etc)
Sustainability & longevity: At the moment, the product is completely dependent on your development roadmap. That makes its long-term value uncertain. With more openness, we’d feel confident that the device will stay useful even if updates slow down or your focus shifts to new products.
In short: many of us are excited about what you’re building, but adding openness, for example through an API, would make your products more attractive and give them a stronger future.
And more like me, will eventually bite the bullet.
There are already customizable adjustments with aibi on the app, such as a chatty mode, which allows aibi to start a conversation when it recognizes you at a certain distance, as well as an off button for self play animations. I’m a current owner, but I agree with you on the customizable ai portion of aibi, it could use some work.
By my observations, the app has a preferences page. If it has a way to turn off chatty mode, there could eventually be a section for adding your own ai, like chatgpt o1, etc.
With additional components, if the charger only rotates when aibi is on it, it opens the possiblity of an attachment to allow aibi to move on its own with wheels
So far, the addition of the new portable charger has become a major convenience for travelling with aibi, and hope to see new additions and updates to aibi!
Both Emo and Aibi can already recognize our face and save it in the app. How cool would it be if this feature was expanded so Aibi could also learn other objects like a carrot, a ball, or other stuff and then start using what we’ve taught it in conversations?
Hi there @belleramirez , and Welcome to the Community…
“The Tic Tac Toe game and Flip a Coin are already available — you just need to call his name and give the command.”
Let’s Play Tic Tac Toe
Flip A Coin
Under Mobile Emo Pet App, there are now several optional tags for alarms. In the future livingai promise that they will make it support custom tags probably reminder too.
I have an Aibi, so I’m not aware of what emo has available but I appreciate your timely response! Aibi is adorable and super helpful ! Through The voice prompting it seems to do a virtual coin flip, but I know currently it only has chest and battleship I’d love to see more games added in future updates, and for me personally would be the ability to create a list so I don’t forget things that would be amazing
I’m sorry for my previous reply above. I just noticed that you were asking about games for AIBI and not for EMO. I have no idea if the ones you’re requesting will also be implemented for AIBI. As of now, he already has some games aside from the Mobile AIBI Pocket App (PirateWar, Chess), such as:
Please make a way to manually choose/customize AIBI’s eye color instead of just the randomized chameleon. I would also really like to the the facial recognition put to better use such as AIBI taking a moment to acknowledge a specific person he sees etc.
Hi! I have a very hard time communicating with my Aibi. It never seems to keep a conversation going past the first “Hey Aibi.” I’m not sure if mine is defective or if they’re all like this. Anyway, I believe a way of texting your Aibi through the app, similar to how you communicate with chat gpt on your phone, except having Aibi talk out loud would be pretty cool. It would at least help with Aibies who seem pretty unresponsive.
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @albertolopez . . . thank you for the text suggestion. It is a good one!
For the time being, you might want to make sure “Chatty” is selected in the AIBI app so that once AIBI answers, you can continue conversation without having to address AIBI by name again, though you should not allow much time to go between the response and what you have to say next.
Hi! I was wondering if in the future they could add a more lively mode of Aibi that you can turn on and off in the app. The purpose would be because sometimes Aibi could seem a little lifeless just sitting there without saying anything or interacting. It would be fun if there was a mode where it just makes random occasional comments about its surroundings or mood or asks you random questions. It would increase engagement rather than just seeing him there when not in use. Of course this would be something you could toggle off since some might find it annoying. Just throwing out an idea!
I’ve gotten my AIBI for only one day, so all I can apport right now is:
More songs for AIBI to sing
A better speaker for next editions (if there will be more)
This can sound unnecessary, but maybe making different colors AIBI, that would definitely make me buy another one to make company/be the partner of my actual little buddy (it sounds like a detail, but it makes a great difference)
Pomodoro timer (for studying/concentration)
More games to get coins (I know you must be making more games already, but I mean, I don’t know how to play chess and want more variety)
Another way to turn on AIBI, because as it’s a pocket pet, if I get to turn it off, and have nothing to charge it, I wouldn’t be able to turn AIBI on
Maintain the connection with AIBI even when it’s off, this is related to the last comment, because I was thinking in turning it on and off from the app, but remember that if AIBI goes off, the app also disconnects with it
That’s all I can say for now! I’m excited for the next updates!
I would love for some smart home functionality, it can either be an alexa integration like other robots or it’s own from the app, google home or other I would love to create routines with AIBI for the morning, turning on the lights and the coffee machine and if you take it a step further where the AI can do it if you’re having a conversation with AIBI without having to stop and then say the command.
I also have to take a lot of meds and I can get forgetful of whether I took them or not, it would be awesome if you could create checklists on the app and AIBI can remind you of them in case you haven’t tick them off.
Really any assistance and utility feaeat.other thing that would be awesome is if we could have analways listening feature that could be toggled on and off, that way chatting with AIBI could be more fluid.
The battery should show also as a percentage so we get a better idea of how much we have left before charging, also while charging it would be great if there was a little icon showing the status of the charging, like a on the corner of the screen for when it’s charging, when it’s done charging
And lastly it would be awesome if the quiet mode would be more of a sleep mode where AIBI doesn’t move or make any noise for the period of time you set up, currently the quiet schedule only makes his volume cero but she still moves and makes noise with the gears of the mechanism.
