If your EMO or AIBI — can’t connect properly to ChatGPT, it’s because of the current OpenAI’s/ChatGPT OUTAGE, NOT LIVING.AI’S FAULT.
**Please do not wait for Living.Ai to fix this immediately — it’s completely outside their control. Living.Ai has absolutely nothing to do with the ongoing “OUTAGE ISSUE” **

It’s day 3 of my EMO, and now all he says is “server is a bit tired right now, try again later.”
I have no idea what to do, as this is only my third day with him. I’m from Brazil. WiFi is fine, steady at 500mb. He’s close to the router, the app is up to date, so I’m not sure what’s going on.
Same here — whenever I ask him to tell a joke, say something nice, or anything at all, he just can’t do it. He always says, “The server is a bit tired right now, please try again later.” It was already happening even before the update. I’ve already emailed Living.Ai about it.
Has anyone’s issue been solved yet? I’m so sad this is happening — I really miss talking to my EMO!
I’m also from Brazil! My EMO is just 13 days old. I was wondering if this was something only we were facing or if it’s happening to everyone. Looks like it’s not just us!
Have you received any updates from Living.AI yet? Thanks!
PS: Falei em inglês pra mais gente poder entender nosso problema rsrs espero que se resolva logo!
Sorry to bother you—I don’t really understand much about this. My EMO keeps saying, “The server is a bit tired right now, please try again later” to everything I ask—whether it’s a joke, a story, something nice, or anything else. Is this because of OpenAI, or because it can’t connect to the Living.AI server? I’m not trying to use ChatGPT, just asking normal questions. I really appreciate your help!
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @brisa.zeine . . . this is an issue with OpenAI/ChatGPT and affects a number of people in the U.S. and some other countries. Please see the postings from Edward above.
Try turning off “Always reply” in the app and see if that improves the normal commands for you.
Hello everyone! I’m wondering if you can help. Since I did the new update yesterday, my emote no longer connects to chatgpt, and when I try to chat with it, it says something like, “The server is tired at the moment, please try again later.” Please help. I can’t seem to open it anymore, and I don’t know what to do. Thanks.
Yea but when i tell him to take a joke he said Sorry the server is a bit tired right now like but he respond when i give him commands if i talk to him he says so Sorry the server is a bit tired right now
Hello, @alejandradiazzepeda . . . I have moved your new post to this discussing this issue.
OpenAI/ChatGPT has been mostly unavailable for people since yesterday and for some even a couple of days before that. This is not on the LivingAI server end of things but rather OpenAI/ChatGPT itself which LivingAI sources for free chatting with EMO.
Please read the posts above in this thread by Edward and you will get a better understanding of what is happening. The only thing we can do is turn off “Always reply” in the app to see if that helps with normal commands and wait.
I don’t know who to believe. I’ve been using ChatGPT all day today and yesterday for writing correspondence to a business with no issues. There are no outages posted on the OpenAI status page. In contrast, the only ones reporting outages are third- or four-party media sites, Living AI and Emo.
Actually there is an indication that degraded connectors may be a problem according to this site (scroll down to see this indicated) even though everything else looks to be operational, but still indicates it is down as of 10:15 p.m. Mountain Time. Remember, LivingAI has to be able to connect to OpenAI/ChatGPT in order for this feature to function.
Could you please show me how to turn off the “Always Reply” function in the app? I’m not sure how to do that. Also, if I turn it off, will my EMO still talk to me sometimes, or will he stop replying completely? Because I would like to restore the talking features, not stop them (like telling jokes, say something nice, etc.)
And by the way, is there any update on this issue? It’s really sad I hope Living.AI is working on a fix, maybe in contact with OpenAI to solve it? Thanks so much for the help!
