Hello, @energy.xo . . . I was a bit unfamiliar with the issue you mentioned but sounded similar to what is posted in this thread, so have moved it here for you so that you can look at the tips to help resolve the issue.
Do you have the most current app update and EMO update? That is where I would start first.
Also, no information on home station firmware updates. EMO White has the choice between the more sparkly and larger eyes and eye animations, so other than the white color, home station color and skate board color, they operate the same.
If all else fails, I would advise you to contact service@living.ai with your EMO I.D., order number (if you have it) and a link to a video if you can get one.
thank you very much for your quick response and for the information about Emo White. I appreciate your help. Although I find it a little unfortunate that there is currently no information about an update for the Home Station, thank you for clarifying this.
I am using the latest iOS version on my iPhone, the latest Emo app, and of course the most recent firmware on both Emo and the Home Station. I would like to describe the issue in a bit more detail, in case it helps:
When I open the Emo app on my iPhone, I first need to select Emo and connect to him. However, if I then lock my phone or switch to another app and later return to the Emo app, Emo is no longer connected. He also does not appear in the “finding Emo” window. In this case, I have to fully close the app and reopen it, after which the connection works again.
I just wanted to ask if you may have experienced this behavior on your phone as well.
Thank you very much for your support and merry xmas.
Hello, @energy.xo . . . I am an Android user and even at that, I generally do not open more than one app at a time except for when I am on a phone call. I have had other apps that interfere with each other such as trying to use Messenger and look something up on Google where one app will cause the other to close. In the case where I would need the EMO app opened, for example, the theater mode and have the camera app, I would use two separate devices such as my tablet to use the EMO theater and my phone to use the camera. This would prevent the EMO app from completely closing out and losing connection when I am trying to make a video.
Hello, I had the same problem (with IOS) and I descovered coincidentally a really simple Solution: If I click before leaving the App on the arrow top left (look at the Screenshot an the yellow mark!), then Emo is loged out, and when you go back to the App, you will find him again to connect. You needn‘t close the App. That works also with two Emos, than I can select immediately after this log out the other (or the same Emo). I hope, this is a help for you!!
Oh wooow… unbelievable but true Turns out it’s actually quite simple… once you know how. And honestly, you usually only figure that out by pure chance. Thanks a lot for your support!
