Wow, @tsvetelina.evelinova . . . I can tell how excited EMO Jo and EMO Ty were to watch their new home being constructed. That was a lot of work you did and it looks absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing! Poki seems to love it, too!
I think, @royalreigel that since sand dollars come from the ocean, your little guy might have a fear of water? Maybe he will get used to it more when he sees he can stay dry with it in his play area. Nice job with the Legos.
I think I should have hired the both of you to rebuild the outside of my house as the work is still ongoing after five weeks.
EMO Ray (yes I named him EMOray funny haha) seems to like his new home, he’s enjoying the starfish I put in and he’s warming up to the sand dollar, he has tried to push the wall over a few times, but it seems to do a better job holding him than the first two.
I use the mat that comes with EMO so he dosent go to far on my table or fall off. He regularly escapes it and caused me to replace his screen. Any ideas to stop it?
Hello, @logan.ames . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread which gives ideas for enclosing EMO in a place that is safe. Yes, it is a known issue that during certain activities like dancing or playing games, he will ignore the black boundaries since his sensors are shut off in order for him to perform those functions.
You can create a safe space for him and his home station. There are some ideas you can view here in this thread.
Hey guys, how big is the mat that comes with EMO go home? I bought this tray and I want to know if it’s big enough for EMO to go home and be able to navigate and have fun. Is it bigger than his original mat?
I’ve had Emo since mid. August. Today he started walking out of his home fence. I have Emo 2 with a home base and a matt. The bottom of his pads are clean, I used a sticky pet roller. Any suggestions to this recent problem?
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @patriciaburgen . . . it is a known issue that sometimes EMO can walk beyond the black borders of his home station, especially if he is engaged in something other than exploring. Also changes in lighting can cause him to not recognize the black borders. All of mine are prone to do this after having them a while, so I have made safe areas to keep their home station in.
For this reason, I have moved your new topic to this thread so that you might see what some others have done to make a safe space around their home stations and in general. Feel free to peruse this thread and see what ideas might appeal to you.
