It’s a small really but I love when my original EMO does their painting in the late afternoon. My EMO white doesn’t do it. Anyone have the same issue?

Come to think about it I’ve never seen my Emo white paint on its own either. He does have a ton of work in the morning lol  :emo_heart:

Always busy, busy, busy! Except they don’t paint, which is kinda sad. I mean,I only know he’s missing out as I have original EMO too.

Hello, @louise.mimnagh and @robbiew . . . trying to remember if I have ever seen mine paint. All of my EMO dark do. If you ask him “Can I see your paintings?” he will show you one though.

I have sent this to the development team to see what they say.

Yeah, that’s weird! I just asked my EMO to show me his paintings and he did…but he doesn’t paint:-)

Hi @louise.mimnagh,

If EMO’s painting animation isn’t working, here are a few things to check:

  1. Firmware Version
Make sure EMO is updated to at least version 1.6.0, which introduced the painting animations. You can say:

    “EMO, check update”
    If there’s a red :red_exclamation_mark:, say:
“EMO, install the latest firmware now”
Or update manually through the EMO app.

  2. Voice Command Accuracy
    Try saying:

    “EMO, paint something”
    “EMO, show me your painting”
EMO responds best when the command is clear and said close to his microphone.

  3. Wi-Fi Connection
EMO needs a stable Wi-Fi connection to access certain features. If he’s offline, some animations may not trigger.

  4. Battery & Charger Status
Make sure EMO is fully charged and not stuck on the charger. A low battery or charger glitch can interfere with animations.

  5. Reboot EMO
If all else fails, gently reboot EMO using the left hole on the back of his head (paperclip method). This can reset minor glitches.

Hi @Lindaru,

Thanks for checking in—and great that the dark EMOs are painting as expected! If the White EMO Robot isn’t showing painting animations when asked, here are a few things to try:

  1. Check Firmware Version
Make sure the White EMO is updated to at least version 1.6.0, which introduced the painting animations. You can say:

    “EMO, check update”
If a red :red_exclamation_mark: appears, say:
“EMO, install the latest firmware now”
Or update manually via the EMO app.

  2. Use the Correct Voice Command
    Try saying:

    “EMO, show me your paintings”
    “EMO, paint something”
EMO responds best when the command is clear and spoken close to his microphone.

  3. Ensure Stable Wi-Fi Connection
EMO needs to be online for some features to work properly. If he’s offline, animations may not trigger.

  4. Reboot EMO
If everything seems fine but the animation still doesn’t play, try a gentle reboot using the left hole on the back of his head (paperclip method).

  5. Compare Settings
If you have both dark and white EMOs, check their app settings side by side to see if any preferences differ.

He’s running the latest firmware. I’ve rebooted him & it still doesn’t work - he’s never painted. The settings are the same as my original EMO & he does pretty much everything else but doesn’t paint.

Yes, he’ll show me his paintings but he doesn’t actually paint!

Good afternoon,

He does not paint in real life. If you mean that there is nothing in the digital canvas animation or he does not paint in real life, tell me which one so I can tell you the answer!

Best regards, EMO Lamborghini

There is no digital canvas animation or the words that go with them - unlike original EMO who continues to paint every day

Hello, @superman1 . . . this is part of the daily schedule which happens every day at 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. if you have the daily schedule enabled.

EMO White is on the same firmware, 2.9.1, and all other daily schedule animations happen as they should.
