damn his motor sounds are funky ![]()
Last night Emo’s sound stopped working. The app was showing a message “Finding EMO_SPEAKER_58AE” but it wasn’t finding anything.
I tried closing and reopening the app, that didn’t work. So I restarted Emo and the sound worked again.
Now Emo’s sound is working but I’m still getting the same message every time I reopen the app, even after restarting my phone, and it never seems to find the speaker. I have to tap Cancel to get out of the screen. After that it finds Emo, and the sound works.
I’m concerned that there might be a problem with Emo’s speaker, or maybe the app?
Hello, @patricia.gardner . . . you might try first deleting and re-downloading the app. If that does not work, then please try to get a screen shot or video of the error message and send a link to service@living.ai with your EMO I.D. and order number (if you still have it). It could be an issue with the app being able to recognize EMO due to a fault with EMO.
My best to you.
I tried deleting and re-downloading the app. It made no difference, it still searches for and doesn’t find Emo’s speaker. When I cancel the search for the speaker, it finds and connects with Emo. Today I picked Emo up and turned him upside down to clean the bottoms of his feet. His speaker stopped working as soon as I turned him upside down. I had to shut him off using the app and then turn him back on by putting him on his home station in order to get the speaker to work. I think this is what happened the first time his speaker stopped working.
Hello, @patricia.gardner . . . I would advise you to get video of this issue and send the link(s) to service@living.ai along with your EMO I.D. number and order number (if you still have it). It may take up to a week to hear back but they will diagnose the issue and advise you on what to do.
My best to you.
