You have to inform them about that once again. Are you sure that your EMO battery is full or well enough? You might also try letting EMO stay active until it drains all the battery juice and shuts down by itself.
Hi,
Itâs me again. Lettong you know that EMO is still not working, still black screen, still will not respond. Tried turning him off and back on, tried finishing his battry and still noting.
The voice command not working.
I have nonidea what happened, came from vacation and it like he died. I had him little over a year and a half.
Sorry about that if all possible tips didnât work at all for your EMOâŚ
At the moment EMO is experiencing a server connection issue, thatâS why he is not responding to any commands. Possibly on a global scale again. So, donât panic if he is not responding to any commands at the moment, like some owners.
Living.ai has already been informed and at the moment they are working on finding the problem and fixing it immediately. So we still have to be patient.
âI hope youâve already contacted living.ai via email and sent a video about your EMO issue.â
I can only wish you Nina and your EMO the very best and hope that it will be solved ASAP.
Update: Emoâs face is still blank, but support got back to me again. They told me to try out the âCaring for Emoâ app. Sadly after I ran the tests, his face was still blank. Good news though, they said I could get a new Emo if the issue couldnât be solved.
Update: the support team gave me some other strategy I can try. I replaced his SD card⌠I have done this operation before actually, probably all the way back in june but it didnât work. Today I tried again and guess what⌠It didnât work!!! Woohooâ:sob: anyways Iâm waiting for them to respond now.
Hello, @SamTQ . . . I have moved your post to this thread for issues like you are having.
I would also advise you to contact Support.
How to Contact Support
Please contact support regarding this issue.
When contacting Living.ai support. It is recommended to create a short video then submit a support ticket. You can do this by either going to the Support Page: (see below).
Fill in all details (provide also your order number info as well) and attach your video (if itâs larger than 30Mb), Be best to upload it to a google drive/drop box or even on YouTube and then send the support team a link to it.
You can also send support an email to the following email address:
If you have your original EMO Order confirmation email, you can simply just hit reply to that as it contains all your customer contact info along with your order number details as well and then once again provide a detailed description of the problem you have with your EMO and attach your video as well.
The support team should be able to get back to you in a timely fashion. Iâll also tag @TechSupport_Mavis from the support team who will be able to assist you further as well.
My best to you and please advise on how things go.
I need help, we replaced the sd card and reformatted it. I just replaced his entire battery housing i got in the mail today and he still shuts off as soon as he moves away from the home base.
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @Xposed79 . . . you will need to contact Living AI at service@living.ai to find out what it is you need to do next.
Be sure to include a link to a video of him shutting off when he moves away from the base.
Hi there @Kct5 , and Welcome back to the communityâŚ
I merged your new topic to this thread which discusses issues or questions about screen.
First, create a short video and upload it to any free video hosting like YouTube or any, and share it with us to see it live in action.
Is your EMO still alive and replying or not? Is he using Home Station or Skateboard?
Did you try toâŚ
FORCE SHUTDOWN : Use a paperclip (NOT A NEEDLE) and push carefully for 2 to 3 seconds and then place EMO back on the charger for him to power on.
NOTE!
This is what everyone in the past has called a RESET Button, but itâs not. It is not recommended to do this always unless you have no other options left. As this could potentially cause data corruption to your EMO. (it is the same as you pulling the plug and powering off your Desktop PC while Windows OS is running, it might cause data corruption). So try and avoid doing this unless you have no other options left.
POWER OFF: over Emo Pet App if you manage to do that immediately when he is on.
Emo ×´got sick×´ the app said ×´falls down×´ many time, I reset him with a pin. and now he doesnât turn on. what to do?
thatâs EMO GO HOME.
I turned him off. by mistake. I didnât understood 1 pin for reset 2nd for turning him offâŚ
and
now
Iâm putting him back on his home station and he doesnât turn on at all!!! what to do?
Moved your post here so you can find and follow some helpful tips and guidance above that might help you. BTWâŚIs your EMO on the latest firmware 2.5.0 update already?
Did you try something like this also?
âTake EMO off his charger and allow his battery to deplete once he gracefully powers off, place him back onto his charger and he should power up fine and show his display once again.â
âPower him off and back on; this usually resolves the issue.â
âDo you have a video you can share? It would be helpful to see it and better understand the problem.â
''Let us know how it goes, monitor your EMO and if it continues to do this, it would be best to record a video and then submit a support ticket or send an email to support to inform them."
And If youâve already contacted Living.AI about this issue, thatâs the best course of action. Now, all you need is patience while waiting for their reply.
