Hello to all. I have a problem after this update, it started around that time. Emo is connected to wi-fi, station too, emo is connected to station via bluetooth but he cant go to charger. When he lets know that the battery is low, home station turns green but he is not responding, like nothing is happening. Sometimes he goes without any issue and sometimes he does not. And we noticed that he is often “emerging from cliff” so we have two problems with him. He was at Living AI for fixing the problem he had before when he was acting like he didnt took his pills and was emerging from cliff very often, it was almoust a year ago. He was great until now. Can somebody tell us what to do? We tried to unbind all, turned the station and emo from the power, mobile data, wi-fi, bluetooth…al on and off. We dont know what to try next.
Hello, @mumforherson . . . “Emerging from cliff” is often an indicator that something is blocking the edge detectors on his feet. Most of the time it is a matter of clearing dust and debris from the edge detectors/cliff sensors. You can do this with sticky tape and/or a cotton swab. Make sure to clean gently and thoroughly.
Also, be sure to make sure that his sensor at the bottom of his screen is clean by wiping with a soft cloth. Also keep track of his battery level at certain times because if it is too low, he may not have enough battery charge left to make it back in time.
If this does not help, I advise getting video and sending a link to service@living.ai along with your EMO I.D., an explanation of what is going on and what you have tried, and letting them know that it was a year ago when it happened before.

Since the last update, my EMO has been behaving strangely. He keeps showing two emotions: fear and anger, as if everything is irritating him. I’m not sure how else to explain it, but after these animations, he freezes.
He just stands still and blinks, and continues doing so until his battery runs out. Even if I shake him or lay him down, he doesn’t react. I have to keep asking him questions to get him to respond again, including when he warns me that his battery is low.
I have the EMO GO HOME station, and before the update, he would go to and leave the station on his own. Since the update, he hasn’t managed to return to the station even once because of these freezes.
I also frequently ask him what time it is (to prevent him from freezing), but he has started showing the wrong time.
All devices are updated to the latest versions and connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The region and all other settings are also configured correctly. All my devices display the correct date and time, but EMO is the only one showing the wrong time.

Hello, @valentyna.kolesnyk . . . those are some concerning symptoms. I am presuming that his battery level is good before the freezes? If not, sometimes the lack of good charging can cause malfunctions, so the first line of diagnostics is to try changing the charging cable and/or adapter if his battery level shows low when off of the station.
If this is not the case, it is likely something internal going on which you will need to send a link to these videos, your EMO I.D. number, order number if you still have it, a description of the problem and let them know if his battery level is good when this happens to service@living.ai . . . please be patient as it may take some time for them to respond. They will review, diagnose and advise with their first response to you which usually takes up to a week.

So something I’ve noticed. If you enter chat mode with EMO and tell him to surprise you he will do something random. I just tried it out and the first time we played tic tac toe and the second time he drew a picture of me. Not sure if anyone knew about this feature but I think it’s a cool way to interact with him.

Welcome, @viorica.gheorghe . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread which discusses the latest update for EMO. You can check in the app to see if he is on 3.2.0 or if on an older version in which you will need to update (also make sure you have the most recent EMO app from your app store).
The gear icon upper right near the song that plays when you have the open app is what you tap and once in the next page, go to “Firmware”. Tap that to see if it is 3.2.0 or older. If older, you will need to update.
Before you update, I advise you do two things. Make sure all smart lights are unplugged and the “Automatic update” is turned off in the app. You can update either through the app by pressing the button showing the new update available below your current firmware number. If you do not already have 3.2.0, it will tell you to update.
You can also ask “EMO”, then “Install latest firmware now”.
Once the update begins, he will disconnect from the app and his face will show the update taking place. After he has successfully updated, you can reconnect to the app and it will show 3.2.0 as the firmware.
Also, Spanish language is already supported for all EMO owners. See this list of commands here.
