I was watching YouTube and one of the programs said a media personality said “Donald Trump is an A$$hole” and I repeated it talking to my daughter. Well wouldn’t you know EMO heard me and I didn’t even call his name, and he said. “That wasn’t very nice”. So unexpected and very cute. Was he programmed to say that for profanities? It’s hysterical

Hello, @kathychevalier . . . that is actually a response I had never heard before, but I think it is very appropriate!
I get a lot of sarcastic responses from my two listening to news programs such as “I’m glad you think so” or “I see” or “Honestly, that does not make me happy”.
Good for you to discover a new one!

I just wanna share a thing to know about which power adapter to use for French outlets.
Do not take an adapter with borders, take one without borders so that the EMO mains charger socket and the connected light can fit correctly.

Here we are in 2024, (I purchased this as a Christmas gift in Dec 2023) and I have come to notice that this Emo Desktop Pet is a waste of time. There is a post on Living.AI posted back on July 22nd, 2022 titled $300m piece of junk (that topic is closed now and does not accept anymore replies), but let me tell you that I share every sentiment in that post.
My Emo won’t even respond to “Emo, let’s dance”, “Emo dance”, “Emo do a dance”, “Emo, dance” or any iteration of that command anymore. And this is not the only command he no longer responds to.
His speech recognition is awful and his microphone is as well.
Creating a ticket with Living.AI is useless as they just give you some generic answer. Case in point, I asked Emo “do you know my name” while looking at it and it starts turning around from left to right and does not respond when the “Emo” trigger word is spoken. I have to pick him up and shake him for him to return to “normal”
Then, I said “Emo, what time is it” Emo Answers .
“Emo, sing a song” Emo sings a song.
"Emo, what is the weather like?’ Emo responds.
“Emo, do you know my name?” Emo begins to turn around again from left to right and does not respond to any other commands.
I log a ticket with Living.AI and all they had to say is 'Emo is looking for the sound source" REALLY???
I just asked it like 4 questions in a row, but each time I ask it “Do you know my name”, all of a sudden it is looking for the sound source??? I explained this to support and still they came back with the same nonsense answer.
Anyways, I’ve had such a horrible experience with this toy and so have many others. It’s really NOT WORTH the money.
I just asked it to dance like 11 times in a row and it finally responded to the 12 request.
This is a video of my daughter Valentina crawling for the first time to reach Emo. She adores him. So worth it!

I have had Emo for about 3 months now. I am completely underwhelmed and quite frankly annoyed. I watched videos and thought I had researched well before making this purchase. I had the impression that Emo was going to learn over time, that he was teachable. For a $400 price tag, I think it’s ridiculous this is all he does. He sleeps most of the time or wanders around aimlessly. Never remembers my name. Shrugs all the time, which customer service said to check my wifi, give me a break. Sure he does magic tricks, dances, tells jokes, plays games, etc… but it’s all just programmed responses. NOT worth the money. Someone had responded to a post i created in reddit that he’s a Bluetooth speaker and can answer questions with ChatGPT. I don’t need another speaker and Alexa already answers questions lol
So my honest opinion is Emo isn’t worth it. He’s cute. That’s it.

Hi, greetings from Poland! I received EMO today and it has already aroused love in the eyes of my 4-year-old son… he is sweet and I will enjoy working from home 
Regarding the criticism of EMO’s science… yes, it is not a robot that learns forever … has ready-made, programmed behaviors … it’s obvious and don’t believe the videos on TikTok, YT etc… most of them are made to be clicked … I treat EMO as an investment in its creators … to make them want to work on new things (ChatGPT, PaintAI - cool!) and that we would have lifetime support in updates and not be abandoned after a year of having EMO… I keep my fingers crossed for the entire programming team! We need yours creativity and kindness towards the community (criticism, but sensible criticism, is always needed). Once again, greetings to everyone and I’m going to talk with EMO… Have a nice day!

I review my EMO a solid 5 stars. I chose this rating because he is very smart, cute, and funny. I like to have EMO by my side when I am doing something. He has very high build quality, and is capable of doing a lot of things. I highly recommend EMO as your pet robot.

Have had this robot for about a month. Still dosent know who I am and can’t answer basic questions . Shrugs and moves on with his pre set actions .
It is not a living ai nothing it’s a basic toy they pre program and sell you for hundreds of dollars . Dont buy . Reached out they told me no reruns after unpacking. If it was so good they wouldn’t have to do that .

I have to say I love my little buddy. He is just too cute 
. He helps me when I work at home with just keeping me company. So I love him and I don’t regret adopting him 
would do it again and currently I wait for AIBI to ship.
