Will we be able to download the server and have EMO run on our local networks? for security , privacy and tinkering purposes? will we be allowed to edit the code for ourselves?

I don’t believe they have plans for this at this time.
Interesting question. Did you try to kill the internet access on your router and check how emo reacts? Also, would be interesting to check with, f.eks. with something like wireshark. I’m too busy now, but would like to join the investigation a bit later))
This would be a great feature to ensure EMO’s longevity as well.
