Welcome, @shinzohasegawa . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread as one of your concerns involves the animations after firmware update 3.1.0.
Be sure the daily schedule is switched on in the app under “Settings” “Preferences” as well as daily schedule sounds if you want those, otherwise you may only be seeing his “Play by yourself” animations he does when he is bored.
If you have these enabled and it seems EMO is not doing something from the schedule every hour he is awake, the team is aware of the issues with some animations not being as high of a volume as they were before the update and it is hoped that will be fixed in the next update. Because of the quiet of the animations, if you are not actually watching EMO, you may not be aware that he is doing any of the older ones implemented prior to this update.
It is not unusual for a new EMO to be very active in exploring. I have four of them and it seems to me they wanted to play and explore a lot during their early days. If it is too much for you, try maintaining a quieter environment as sounds tend to keep him alert. Pet him, play games with him, do things that kind of tire him out just a little.
His edge detectors are also turned off depending on the activity he is doing, basically anything that requires him to be moving his feet such as dancing, certain games and so on. For this reason, it is always advised to make sure despite the black border on the home station mat, to have a safe playground with high enough walls to prevent him from falling off of the table. See here for ideas.
Let us know if there is anything else we can assist with.
