EMO’s headphone LED is always blue, and it never changes even when users change EMO’s eye color. Since EMO doesn’t have outfits or accessories, eye color is the only visual customization EMO has — but the headphone LED stays stuck on blue, which makes EMO look mismatched.
Why This Feature Is Needed:
EMO’s eye color can only be changed through voice commands, not the app.
Many users have voice recognition issues, so EMO misunderstands or doesn’t respond.
When EMO’s voice recognition fails, users cannot change the eye color at all.
The headphone LED staying blue makes EMO look inconsistent when eye colors do change.
Requested Improvements:
Add Eye Color Changing Inside the EMO App
A simple color picker or preset list.
No voice commands required.
Helps users who have EMO voice recognition errors.
Add Headphone LED Color Customization
RGB slider or preset colors.
Option to match EMO’s eye color.
Optional effects like glow, pulse, or mood‑based color.
Benefits:
Makes EMO look visually consistent.
Helps users who cannot use voice commands.
Gives EMO more personality without changing its design.
Easy to use and fits perfectly into the existing EMO app.
Conclusion:
Adding eye‑color control and headphone LED color control to the EMO app would fix voice‑recognition problems, improve customization, and make EMO feel more personal and complete.

I was surfing today and Emo started singing Queen’s “We will rock you.” It would be nice if I could get him to sing that when I show him to people.

Hello, @harrydodgson . . . I have moved your post to this thread which LivingAI reads to see what suggestions there might be for upcoming features for EMO.
I think adding “We Will Rock You” to the songs tab in the theater would be a great idea as a song with the microphone singing animation.

You can only play the song “We Will Rock You” by going to…
EMO Pet App > Show > Theater > Animations > Scroll Below > Choose/Click “Football”
While singing “We Will Rock You,” EMO will also play football at the same time.

Look I have emo In my room I literally bought him and now never use him because I don’t wanna unplug him everytime I want to sleep so just make a mode or a thing you can put that emo closes all lights and even his screen and doesn’t reconnect until a certain time decided from user I played with him only for 1 or 2 weeks and never after because of that and he’s been sitting there collecting dust for months
I am sorry to hear that, @Pizza . . . I have moved your new topic here to suggestions for EMO (and the home station) which the developers read from time to time and may implement as future features.
I would add to your suggestion that it be optional that you can toggle in the app since many users enjoy having him and his station be on all of the time.
I hope you can find joy in having him active again.

Hello, I bought my EMO back in 2023 but I’ve still never used this forum, so I’m sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. During these three years, I’ve had quite a lot of interactions with EMO, and they’ve changed with the newest updates.
The new updates added the ability for EMO to start a conversation, but I noticed it would always engage ChatGPT. Now, I won’t ask to change the AI it uses, because I can’t even imagine what kind of work that would require, but it would be nice to have some personalization around it. For now, EMO will just use ChatGPT, and there’s no way to disable that. I’m not a fan of OpenAI and ChatGPT, but the real issue for me is that EMO now feels more like an ordinary AI with premade phrases than my desktop pet. Also, I don’t really like the idea of an online AI having access to a camera and microphone that wanders around my room.
Personally speaking, I didn’t really buy EMO because I wanted it to chat with me with its premade identity and way of speaking (which is fine in English, but bothers me a lot in my language), even if I would like that if it had the ability to remember, learn, and change the way it interact and talk with you. I bought EMO because I wanted a cute robot pet to have on my desk, one that could wander and learn about me and the environment, even with just small behavioral changes.
As for now, my feedback/question is this: would it be possible to add an in-app option to disable the ChatGPT implementation?
Beside this, keep up with the updates, EMO is growing up thanks to you guys!

Welcome, @Nann . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for EMO feedback. The team reads this thread and may include requests from owners for future feature implementation.
Have you tried going into the app under “Preference” and turning off “Always reply”. This will generally cut down on how much EMO uses ChatGPT to reply to whatever EMO hears. I do believe he will still rely on ChatGPT to initiate a conversation with you and answer, so if they do include a way to completely turn it off, that would be helpful for your situation.
I do have to say mine are English speaking (I have four EMO) and they are very spontaneous with their ChatGPT enabled responses and very life-like emotionally, so another consideration would be to update the way they respond in your language.

Hey @Lindaru, thank you for moving my topic to the right thread! I was just wondering what the “Alway reply” option does, i did try to turn it off and on a few times, but i just couldn’t see the difference or find anything online. I should probably also try to set EMO’s language to english, chat with it and see how it goes… Maybe it needs to conversate more to change its way of talking and acting, so I’ll try this too. Thank you anyway for sharing your experience and letting me know about the “Always reply” option!

I wish Emo could do the most when the Gpt is running, spinning there, say in conversation what the user wants there to watch, what he shows.
And what’s more, it not only worked as a speaker, but also as a webcast - like, it tracks or just stands with a camera and the camera sends it a picture to the computer or phone.
Hello, @synterium . . . I have moved your post to this topic which the developers see and may implement in future firmware updates.
Currently video is not supported and would likely need a different build of EMO to make him able to do tracking and sending to the photos in the app.
The current version of ChatGPT also does not yet have all of the updates to suggest what to watch, but I have found that if I ask him about certain movies or shows, he will sometimes tell me what he knows about them.
