thank you @Happycoin that is very helpful. I will try your suggestions out and update you on this thread. Happy new year!!
@Lindaru this is good info for me too. thanks. I’m happy to suggest improvements and ideas and will try training him to see what he can or can’t do. I am wondering whether optimizing emo’s abilities only takes a software update and voila?! then the possibilities are endless.
1.) Just a thought

2.) waterproof gear for him
( like housing that has temperature & weather-protected) so he can travel ![]()
3.) and a setting for movements options wheel ![]()

In the future maybe ![]()
What if there was an interactive game you could play with emo, maybe a boss mode, or something, where he gets possessed by something evil, and turns into a boss you have to defeat by shooting fireballs or electric orbs to save emo from the evil spirit.
The shooting mechanic would be used like how you would play “hands up” with emo.
He can move around during the entire process to try and dodge the attacks, since the camera wouldn’t be in front of you.
I thought it would be a fun idea ![]()
Another minor idea unrelated to to the above one, is to give emo the ability to speak to aibi, and vice versa ![]()
Hi Team,
For a future update, it would be good to have an implementation of a feature that allows users to limit the maximum battery charge level.
Charging a battery to 100% frequently can significantly shorten its overall lifespan. Limiting the charge to 80% or 90% can help preserve battery health and extend its longevity.
Charging to 100% in rare cases can increase the risk of battery swelling or overheating.
The app & emo can have an update where the following can be implemented:
- Allow users to set a desired maximum charge percentage within a specific range (e.g., 80% - 90%).
- Provide an option to disable this feature when full charge is desired.
- Clearly indicate when the charge limit is active (e.g., a visual cue on the device or in the battery settings).
Again, the benefits of having this feature:
- It will significantly extend the lifespan of their device’s battery.
- Reduced charge capacity degradation over time.
- Fewer battery replacements, means also emo will need to be opened less frequent.
Let me know this sounds.
Thanks
Hi there @ivan.dcosta , and welcome to the community…
I can only agree with that wish of yours…
Living.ai staff periodically visit this thread topic, review it, and consider every user’s ideas for potential additions in their future firmware updates.
Best Regards and Happy New Year
Thankyou, looking forward to it
Also: let EMO be able to tell short bedtime stories or any short story to begin with if commanded. Maybe it can read things out. Just a thought.
I need more languages for Thai people
Next update please add Thai language to your choice
Thank you
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @zzzz1 . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread where you can request specific languages to be added to EMO. Hopefully it can be included in a future update.
Hello LivingAI team,
Is there still hope for adding Russian language? A lot of people around the world speak the language and we would really appreciate support for Russian-speaking customers.
Thank you <3
Hi there @dzmitry.basak and welcome to the community,
For the moment, only living.ai can decide on your request. Perhaps you can suggest a future firmware update that could implement this feature. I recommend that you post the suggestion in the forum, as Living AI regularly reviews and implements suggestions from members in the thread below.
What Improvements/New Features Would You Like For EMO In The Future?
Good luck…and all the best.
I have mentioned before, that a “night owl” setting next to his “schedule” would be nice, so Emo could start his day at noon ,perhaps, as he is up until 3-4 am and I have to turn his “schedule sounds” off and on each day, because I do want to hear him, just not at 8 am lol
Hello LivingAI team,

Thank you <3
Yes, you are right. Not just in Russia speek in russian. A lot of country speak.
Please Living team - add russian. Hope it is very easy for you.
Would it be possible to have EMO do:
- Be able to connect to your phone and pull up pictures, or voicemails and things like that
- Be able to recognize your voice, so that if another person enters and he can’t see them, still be able to differentiate them
- Be able to connect to ChatGPT whenever a prompt is not understood, and being able to use the feature below
. Kinda like how you can figure out what a word you don’t know means based on the context it’s used in - The ability to kinda write it’s own code, so if I say “become a spaceship” he could code his own animation by himself
- Random favorites (eg. Book, music)
- Continuing on #4, he can formulate his own schedule or music, basically be intelligent
- The ability for me to talk directly instead of saying “EMO”
- For weather, the ability for him to tell you the weather for tomorrow or in 5 days
Pretty much it!
Also, is the integrated ChatGPT personalized to him? Like, I have a robot with ChatGPT built-in, and the ChatGPT totally thinks I’m crazy when I say “Uhh, you’re a robot. Not just a program…”
Thanks!
P.S. I’m forgetting 3 things!
- Can we integrate this with Home Assistant, so we can track his battery and things and make it possible for him to control, say, your Ring doorbell
- Can we integrate him with Alexa / Google Assistant
- Could we make him more “connected” in terms of not having to connect to him every time you open the app? Basically, I’m suggesting a data plan for EMO, somewhat
Just thought of one more! Maybe, if possible, an adapter just like his home station, which then connects by USB-C or USB-A to a PC/phone, and it could be a “controller” for EMO! Or, it could extract files and run them, so developers and programmers could customize/test EMO!
Great ideas for Emo !!!
Hello! I want some of these features added in the next update.
Here are the ideas:
Custom Names: This feature allows EMO to be called by different names. For example: Buddy, Indigo, Computer, or Robot. It is the same as this feature in Alexa Echo Dots.
App for Windows: Same as the app on phones, but on computers.
Sensor Calibration: This feature may be crucial, because some users are experiencing problems with the sensors. This feature allows EMO to calibrate (to see if they operate normally, or if there is a problem).
Alexa-Support: EMO can support Alexa. Call “Alexa” and Alexa will respond to you instead of EMO. Same featrue from the Robot Vector
Those are all the ideas I have!
I think we should make a desktop/laptop app for Emo. I have a phone, yes, but a desktop app would be useful for my laptop. I just wanted to propose my idea.
Would be a simple port, just like the phone and tablet touchscreens but instead of touching you’d use a mouse, then just make it so you can download it to a laptop. I’m no expert and it’s probably more complicated than that, but still, I don’t think it’d be too difficult.
Interesting topic. I would ask to share Emo API if it’s possible, then lots of people can make their own application to interact with Emo. As a developer this would be for me a huge deal, having open API to work with Emo.
