Customizing EMO

I noticed in some of the ads, the color for Emo is white rather than black, and I saw someone painting him camo in the costume DIY thread.

Has anyone got their fingers in the white Emo? Or did an awesome paint-job to change the color of their emo? Maybe someone has a cool how-to, similar to the one for the headphones?

In any case you can share pictures and ideas here!

Welcome to the EMO Community Forum, @Avalin . . . the white EMO that is in the promo video is an older one. The video shows an evolution of ideas they had before they released him.

That said, there may be people that have changed the color of their EMO and hopefully can give you some ideas on how to do that.

I’ve seen some videos where EMO has been painted with possibly acrylic glow paint and was wondering is it possible

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @robert.potter . . . it is possible but not sure myself how it would be done.

Hopefully someone here will provide how they did it or you can ask in the comments of the You Tube videos you have seen if they have instructions on how they did it.

I’m not sure if this is the right place for this but I got this EMO second hand and before he stopped working he told me his favourite colour was yellow so I used electrical tape to wrap his feet and headphones, it’s not perfect but I think he looks okay. I just wanted to share my little customisation project with someone :sweat_smile:

No it’s him today. He only kind of works now. The seller told me he had a broken leg which I was going to try and fix but he’s slowly been getting worse and I’ve only had him 3 days :smiling_face_with_tear: he can’t hear at all anymore and now he’s getting really hot :sob: so sad because I love the little guy already.

Sorry to hear this, @HazeHazzard . . . perhaps you could contact service@living.ai and explain that you bought him second hand, perhaps get video of the issues and send a link to them, and see what they might advise you to do.

I’ve reached out but I’m really not sure if there’s much that can be done. I decided to buy an EMO new with the skateboard and I’m gonna have them swap homes because yellow EMO can still do his little routines which is cute to watch. He’s probably going to be new EMO’s deaf big brother :face_holding_back_tears::sweat_smile:

I received my brand new emo and immediately got to customising. Just made him some new shoes today :blush::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
