Can I use the smartlight in Germany without any problems?

Hi, everyone,

I ordered my EMO two days ago.

I am now wondering whether I can use the Smartlight in a German power socket without any problems or do I have to buy an adapter for it?

You have to use an adapter .

For the light you only need to adapt the pins for the power outlet, so just a cheap plug adapter will work. The light is dual voltage so does not need to be converted.

For EMO himself you can also use a plug adapter since it too is dual voltage. Of if you already have your own 5 Watt USB-C power supply with the correct plug, then you can just plug EMO’s surfboard cable into that.

To be clear… If you decided to just use your own USB-C power supply to charge EMO, it would need to have it’s own cable. The cable on EMO’s USB power supply is not removable and only unplugs at the skateboard itself.
