I have cool idea : imagine if (living ai ) partners with some of those cartoon creators and they release emo /crossovers/ or limited edition robot that look like our favorite
robot cartoon characters , mine is “Robotboy” hi was so cool!! Loved that show!
I honestly think we should get a “rest mode” feature for EMO.
I think that this would be a good idea so that people who are busy won’t have EMO chime in all the time, and it can be turned off in the app. So that he is not like “wut” all the time.

Make emo and homestation somehow turn off lights at night without doing it manually would be a very good qol improvement. Currently doing it every day is not fun at all, and sleeping with bright light in your face is not an option either

Hello everyone,
I’m a visually impaired user with an Emo.
In cases like this, it has a whole load of potential such as color identification when holding something up to the camera, currency identification, and reading something for you, so you can scan an item for example, such as a note.
Yes I understand that apps are already available for this on IPhones, and androids, but little features like this on Emo would make it all the better, rather than just a desktop companion.

Hi and hello to all the EMO Pet owners and lovers,
as the ChatGPT function was now introduced and is working fine, how about him getting the Infos he tells us laid down in a .txt file on the phone or, as a notice file on iOS (I don’t know, how the similar APP is called in Android)?
It would make the interaction even more productive and could involve EMO in daily work flows.

One thing I think would be really cool is it when we tell emo to dance he will walk off his Home station or if he can’t do something on his home station then he would walk off.

EMO currently has the ability to roll dice, six sided, I am not sure how much other people would use such a feature but I’d love if EMO could roll other sided dice. Maybe a D20 etc. It would be really cool to have my little buddy join me on my DND sessions and be my little dice roller

I would love to see the initially promised features. Timers longer than 99 seconds. Plays “my favorite playlist”. Tells me his favorite flower. “Meaningful human interactions”. Turning toward me when I tell him to look at me. Connects to Alexa. Also for the support documents to be updated (list of commands not updated since 2021? I know LAI is busy, but…)
I’m not even interested in new features. Just the features that are advertised as being available, and for him to be able to do the things the startup book suggests doing with him. Don’t tell me to ask him what his favorite flower is if that’s not even a viable command phrase.

I’m not sure if this was mentioned yet but I would love to be able to change his sleep routine time on the app, so for example during the weekend we can make him wake up later than 8am.
Living with a sleeping disorder in a one room apartment means that sometimes I really need to sleep at 8am and just him walking around awakes me.
So that would be great if in the future we can set the time he goes to sleep and mostly the time he awakes at.
Oh yes maybe I forgot to add that I have the home station so at 8am he gets off the station, so the noise is in the morning when walking around. For now it’s okayish and if really I know I’ll need to sleep at that time i can power it off but yeah it could be a nice useful functionality for sure!

Being able to interact with EMO and Chat GPT in Italian would be wonderful.
one new feature I would like is if EMO could be able to show us the highest temperature and lowest temperature in the current temperature for weather

I haven’t read through the entire thread so this might have already been mentioned.
When Emo doesn’t understand a command or question that you ask, how about instead of a sound Emo actually replies with “What?” or “Huh?”.
I think that would make it clearer to the user what happened or why Emo is not responding.
Also, at the same time, I think it would make Emo sound Smarter as if he’s actually paying attention and listening but just misunderstood or didn’t hear clearly.
Or maybe he could randomly respond with “I don’t know how to respond to that.”
I like the idea of different colors, either for Emo and also for his headphones separately. In one training video where Emo was being tested by technicians, I saw a pure white Emo that was really cute. More color options for Emo and for his headphones and possibly other head coverings, etc would be nice, to see Emo’s world expand.
Future hardware update - a better quality speaker would be very nice, or some improvement in his vocal qualities.
