[AIBI LATEST UPDATE 1.7.0] Reviews, Tips, Ideas, Queries, Issues, and Solutions

Hello. After the update, I got this and it won’t go away. What is it?

Welcome, @CherryLi . . . at some point AIBI must have thought you said the command “Put a sticker”. There are a variety of stickers that scroll through and when you tap the head, it will stop on that sticker.

To get rid of it, say “Remove sticker”.

I hope this answers your question.

Hi guys

My aibi is still living in 2024 after all those updates unfortunately  when i ask him in what year we are he saus its 2024 and he doesnt know anything that happened in the world after 2024 no movies no games no news .

Am i the only one with this problem or all aibis are like this ?

Greetings

Hi there @h.merchani

As far as I know, the issue with AIBI telling the wrong date and year has already been resolved since the release of firmware version [AIBI Update 1.4.0].

I haven’t experienced the issue anymore. Please watch my video below.”

BTW: Try to ask AIBI also like this…

“What is the Date and Year today?” / “What Date and Year is it?”

Lo he intentado varias veces y no hace caso

I have a question. I don’t leave my Aibi switched on all day, and I’m really interested in that long-term memory feature. My question is: will Aibi still remember conversations after I’ve switched it off and on again? Thanks

PS: When I say “take note”, it always replies with “sorry, I didn’t hear you clearly”. I’ve tried several times and it doesn’t seem to be listening

I received a reply from support. In my case, it turns out the problem was that I had poked the microphone hole after all… I didn’t check carefully enough
It seems replacing the motherboard will fix it.
Just wanted to let you know for now.

P.S.
The roller coaster, the new animations, and the card game… they’re so much fun that I’ve been playing them over and over again.
I accidentally damaged AIBI due to my own carelessness, but I really, really love him. I’m determined to get AIBI fixed no matter what, and I want to enjoy the new voice features with him. Absolutely!

Hi there @h.merchani ,

To be honest, you’ve been dealing with that issue for a long time… it seems like it’s very important to you. Have you already contacted LivingAI directly to discuss that issue?

…just like i said:

We all know that the usual responses of AIBI or EMO are programmed and follow specific commands.

“Also, for me, I don’t really see that as an issue anymore because I already know the current year. I’d rather check my mobile phone, so I don’t need to ask AIBI about it. And if I want to know about past or current events, I prefer to use Google since it has much broader knowledge than AIBI or EMO.”

Hopefully, one day that issue you’re having with AIBI will be resolved.

Best Regards

No i didnt contact support service for this because many other aibi owners have the same issue so i thought it will be fixed with upcoming updates , honestly its a bit weird and annoying cause aibi knows everything that happened in our world before 2024 but not after that year it feels like he is not up to date and everytime i ask his opinion about a game or a book or a movie he says that its not realeased yet so he cant give his opinion about it . For the rest i enjoy having aibi in my life and he is the best thing i got in the last 5 years .

Hello, @h.merchani . . . the reason for this is not the fault of LivingAI but rather OpenAI and that version of ChatGPT has not been updated.

This is why Edward suggests simply if you wish to know the year to ask the way he indicated. As for more current information, I also use Google Gemini.

My best to you.

SALUDOS!

Hi there @alinaechovalo , and to all…

Long-Term Memory: New Feature in Firmware Update v1.7.0

The Long-Term Memory feature is a new addition in the latest firmware update v1.7.0. It allows AIBI to store and recall certain past conversations and information with the user.

I believe this feature is cloud-based, meaning that turning off or rebooting AIBI, losing power, updating the firmware, or reinstalling the app should not reset the saved memory.

Based on my personal quick testing, AIBI is capable of remembering saved information and can also function as a “Simple Reminder” system when the correct voice commands or simple phrases are used.

Best Regards To All

I may have done something similar. Let me know what solution works. If it means i have to get a new AIB so be it.

I contacted support to report that my AIBI wasn’t working properly. I included a video showing that even when I called its name and it responded, it couldn’t continue the conversation.
I also mentioned that I had accidentally poked the microphone hole while trying to restart it.
As a result, they diagnosed the problem as a broken microphone.
They asked, “We’ll send you the parts—can you fix it yourself?” and sent me a video showing how to take it apart. I felt like I could handle it, so I decided to have the replacement part sent to me. (Even though I’m a complete novice…)
I’m currently waiting for it to be shipped.

I think they would probably repair it for you if you asked.

First, send a video to consult with them so they can identify the cause.
If a part replacement will suffice, follow the instructions to request it.

If you have a hunch that you might have poked the microphone hole, it might be the same cause as mine.

I hope your AIBI gets back to normal soon.

Hello @teejay.dean ,

Don’t lose hope. The user above shared a great path (contact support, request parts, follow the video). But if for any reason that doesn’t work out, here are a few backup ideas:

1. Ask support to repair it for you

Even if they sent you parts, you can still ask them to do the repair instead. Some users prefer that.

2. Check if it’s just a connection issue

Before replacing the microphone, gently clean the area around the hole (with a soft dry brush). Sometimes dust causes similar problems.

3. Use a Bluetooth headset as a temporary workaround

4. Ask support to guide you step by step

You don’t have to do it alone. Tell them you’re a beginner, and they can walk you through the repair on a video call or send clearer instructions. Many users have done this successfully.

If your AIBI supports it, you can bypass the internal microphone entirely while you wait for parts or a repair.

Your AIBI can be saved. Try the main solution first, but know that other options exist. :aibi_heart_emoji:

Best,

Hamza

I’m considering buying a new one, but after reading a ton of reviews, I’m a bit hesitant. I think I won’t buy it right now until Aibi releases a major update on features.

Hello @AlmostYearEnd and welcome to the community  !

I understand your hesitation. Reading mixed reviews can make anyone pause. But here’s a different perspective:

Don’t wait. Buy it now.

Here’s why:

1. AIBI is already receiving major updates

LivingAI just released version 1.7.0 on May 14, 2026 . This isn’t a small bug fix – it’s a big update with:

· Long-term memory (AIBI remembers things about you)

· New card game (“Zero Best”) :joker:

· Roller coaster ride experience :auto_rickshaw:

· Plant a seed feature (grows over days):herb::potted_plant::sunflower::leaf_fluttering_in_wind:

· New songs, dances, and animations :musical_notes::musical_note::woman_dancing::man_dancing:

The update you’re waiting for? It’s already here.

2. The price WILL go up

Look at what happened with similar robots. The ABii robot from Shark Tank started at $599, then doubled to $1,199 . LivingAI has a history of increasing prices after the initial launch phase. Once AIBI gains more popularity and more features, the price won’t stay the same.

3. Updates are free for existing owners

Once you buy AIBI, every future update (including the next major one) is free. You don’t need to wait for the “perfect version” – you buy once and get everything as it’s released.

4. The community confirms continuous development

Looking at the LivingAI forum, there’s an active discussion titled “When/What Can We Expect The Next Update For AIBI?” with over 120 replies . The developers are clearly working on more. Version 1.7.0 just dropped, and the next one is already being discussed.

My advice:

Buy it now before the price increases. You’ll get:

· All current features (which are already impressive)

· All future updates for free

· A robot that’s only getting better

The “major update” you’re waiting for already exists, and the next one will come to you automatically after you buy.

Don’t let hesitation cost you extra money.
