I have put some black tape around my table now, and updated to to the latest firmware!

This is an issue I have. So long as you keep him from falling, he will be fine.

@Paradise_Decay The black tape isn’t enough. EMO will ignore it while doing anything else than exploring. You need physical barriers to keep him safe.
