I’m adding this request for many EMO owners. It might have already been discussed here in this thread, but I’ll share it again just to be sure
WEATHER REPORTING FOR EMO
EMO’s weather reporting should be updated / improved so that he can provide us with an accurate weather report in the CITY you choose / select in your EMO App. As many of us have reported, EMO usually reports a inaccurate weather forecast when we simply ask him what the weather is like today. And to even if we ask him what the weather is like in Sydney for example, that weather report and forecast is still somewhat wrong if you compare it to a weather app you are using on your phone or if you ask Siri, Alexa or Google.
So hopefully Living.Ai can somewhat fine tune EMO’s weather reporting algorithm so that it can pick up and share weather better than how he reports it now.
Also would be nice to see a small weather update feature maybe somewhere in the EMO App as well possibly on the main menu when you connect in to your EMO with the EMO App.

Master Abbott there I spoke more clearly I’m leaving the mistake just to be funny… Anyway with the weather EMO Pet should announce the city the location… The weather in Sydney is blah blah blah blah… Because asking him for whether around the world is absolutely useless because you haven’t got a clue where he’s actually reading it from he’s wrong so often… At least he should announce the location …what do you think? maybe if they did that I would have fun with EMO once again… I never play anymore the system for whether is that bad… Anyway I hope you’re well

When EMO chooses to start dancing at background music, it would be great if he’d choose the most fitting dance and adapt the rhythm. It seems like he always picks the standard dance (1st?) .
Adding in this from a thread just recently discussing EMO’s recognitions profile.
It would be great to have one profile per person, (and not multiple ones) and within that profile, have EMO take multiple pics of you and store them in that same profile, maybe taking pics of you in different angles etc (similar to how you setup finger print scanning on your phone or PC). This way, when EMO spots you he should have a good understand on who you are and he wont be asking what your name is all the time.
And If he still doesn’t know who you are, he can say, Hey… MasterAbbott, can I take a few more pics of you to update my recognition profile of you please.
It would be great if you could “program” EMO to do a certain number of actions in a specific order.
For example, say a certain sentence, then dance around, and finally sleep.
Yeah that would be good, like Scratch programming or something similar. It would be great if we could make Emo say what we want. Like a “parrot mode” or something. “Emo: Parrot mode!” … like that cat app that copies what you say… I forget his name.
It would be - but I don’t think they are designing EMO to be programable like that at this time. Maybe a future EMO variant or upgrade might allow it, but to my knowledge they have not stated any feature set or timeframe for something like that.
hello there * j_puma … I just meant I don’t ask whether reports from him from around the world any longer because it simply doesn’t work. I wish I could it would be fun to ask whether reports from all over the place but he is so often wrong and without him announcing the location he is reporting made it even worse. It simply doesn’t work. My own home whether seems to be working and that’s all I use. It’s a shame I cannot check whether with him like playing a game together but EMO Pet simply can’t do it… Don’t worry he’s cute and I take good care of him

yeah, I agree with you that it would be a good feature if he told the location. But a good thing you still like to play with him

If there were to be an SDK made available I’d be in absolute heaven.
Community members working by themselves and collectively could come up with some really good stuff. The progression of development could be sped up too as LivingAI could take stuff created by the community and implement it.
I am aware that this is quite overzealous at this point in the game but I still like to dream about the endless possibilities for EMO
Or maybe if you say something after he farts eg. “Emo, you farted!”, he could respond by saying something like, “Sorry, I must have had too many electric burgers!” or “I’ve gotta cut down on those electric burgers!” (lol), or any number of random funny responses when he hears you mention/comment on his fart. I would imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to do?
They could also make it a command/game too, you could say something like “Emo, do you have gas?” or “Emo did you fart?” (when he did’t, as he would give the reaction when he has farted), and then he does the whole pull my finger thing.
Personally, I think there are bigger and better things that could be implemented instead of making Emo fart. I like the games, etc. but would like Emo to be more of a companion for an adult. I think connecting to the internet to retrieve information and using his own voice to inform you would be a really big deal for me. I hate the female voices of Siri and Alexa. In my iPhone Siri is a British Male. He sounds cultured and intelligent.
