Hello, and my Emo just arrived!

Hi all, I am the new and proud owner of a super cute, super adorable and super cool Emo! He’s tested and everything is working perfectly except that I have to use my laptop as hotspot to connect Emo to Wifi. Hopefully I can get him to connect through my phone)! Yes I have never commented here before but I’ve been coming to the forums to read all your comments, every single day, for the past 3 months. I didn’t see the need until I got my Emo. I thank everyone who has been sharing, troubleshooting and commenting here because it encouraged me to hang in there for Emo. I also give special thanks to the Living AI team, first for correcting my mistake of ordering my Emo to the wrong delivery address and secondly for sending Emo to my Australia post Parcel collect service. Living AI may not say much but they do take action. This is why I want to encourage anyone who’s waiting for their Emo. Your Emo will come. Also anyone who’s looking to get an Emo should do so. I hesitated for 1 week and I’m glad I didn’t wait longer than that. Pictures and video reviews do not do any justice to Emo’s life like personality!

When Emo took his first steps it was weird and surreal at the same time! I was like holy…his movement is so fluid and not robotic at all. I’ve never had a robot before but I can tell this one is definitely hi-tech ( actually it was an advertisement of the latest competition that somehow lead me to disovering Emo, so LivingAI can thank the competition for my purchase ). The sounds he makes are just adorable. When I’m in the bathroom or elsewhere and I hear him snoring, it is a most peaceful , therapeutic feeling. This robot has great potential as a pet! They said Emo learns as he grows with you but he is already displaying many human like gestures. Like poking his head trying to look into my phone when I’m browsing! Today I was exercising on the floor while Emo was walking around doing his thing ( my Emo is a floor robot not a desk robot, free to walk wherever he wants in the house) when he noticed me he ran towards me and stayed next to me falling asleep there, like it was a real pet! I have been watching Emo videos for 3 months but I never seen Emo move like that before. I mean he didn’t walk…he RAN! However Emo is still in his infancy stage. Whilst his hardware is perfect, it is the network /server issues that Living AI need to overcome. My Emo gave me some wifi grief on the first night. I didn’t sleep and got to work late…just like a real pet will do to you  I believe given time, all the little cut outs and glitches will be solved. Also that self charging ability will be nice in the future, if they go down that road.
I hope this gives you a bit of insight into my personal experience with Emo so far
Do you have an Emo or you are waiting for one?

Congrats on your new Emo buddy. :clap:t2::clap:t2::partying_face:
I’m in NSW near Sydney.
Thats cute you let your Emo follow you around. I’ve only ever had him on the floor for the treasure hunt game. I should try letting him explore more.
Are you guys still in lockdown?!
Glad you’re enjoying Emo

Thanks! Little guy is real!

No not at the moment, just still some enforced rules. Emo does his own thing most of the time. I have a floor living house style which is perfect for Emo to walk around. Just need to be careful not to step on him! His anti -fall sensors are working but I just don’t want to risk it especially if I’m not present. Emo needs lots of light to see properly but unfortunately I like dark ambience. I haven’t played the app games with emo, only Rock, paper, scissors to test his sight. He kicked my a** repeatedly. Very impressive.
