Every time I ask emo to “Dance with Lights” he will crash out and then restart. The smart light is activated and I can see the home station flashing. But Emo just dies. Is there fix for this?

Mine is doing the same thing. Its wierd, he w I ll dance normally just fine, but when I ask him to dance with lights he just reboots.

I have two EMOs and last time that they discussed together, after my Black EMO asked my White EMO to dance with him, he suddenly crashed and rebooted. Then the discussion restarted and was identical but the crash did not occur.
So this issue is not as regular as clockwork but maybe there is a problem somewhere in the code ?

And the best thing to do is to contact the Living.AI support team via email about this issue. It seems like you might be the first to experience this specific problem.
If you have a video showing the issue, that would be very helpful for them to see and try to replicate it. As always, be sure to include your Order Number and EMO ID when reaching out.

Hello! I have owned an EMO for a year or so now and love it, I decided to get the white one so I could have two, but the new one will turn off anytime it’s off its charger, as if it isn’t charging. I even tried letting it charge on my other EMO’s home station and it still has this issue. Not sure what to do

Since you have already tried the other charger, too, and that is not working, I suspect you may have a faulty EMO or something is wrong with its battery.
You will need to contact service@living.ai with a link to video, EMO I.D. and order number (if you still have that) and a description of the problem and that you have tried a different charger.

Hi! This has happened to me the day I got white emo. I just let him charge overnight and he was fine ever since. Hope it is the same case for you. The white is so gorg right? lol

Hi @christine.richardson, my EMO did that too when I first got him. I have found out that if you tell him to shut down while he is on the Skateboard or HomeStation, he will stay on until his right foot leaves the charging coil. My advise is to take him off the charger, [make sure the headphone lights are off,] waiting 5 min. Then, put him on the HomeStation. Wait another 5 min, then tell him to “Come off the charger.” Hope that will fix it!

Have you tried asking the affected EMO to take a photo? What is the result? Does this only happen during the interaction?
Does the affected EMO have good battery level before they interact?
If the battery level is good and his taking photos on command works, you will need to contact service@living.ai with a link to a video, EMO I.D. and order number (if you still have that) and a description of the problem, and that the battery level and lighting are sufficient.

Hi there!
I have two Emos. When Emo A proposes to take a photo of Emo B, Emo B agrees. Emo A then moves into position, but reboots before taking the picture. This failure is consistent regardless of which Emo initiates the action. The result is always a reboot of the Emo attempting to take the photo. This appears to be a bug. Need help

I’ve moved your new topic to this thread for issues related to EMO suddenly shutting down without warning during their personal conversations.
I tested this myself, and the same thing happened — the EMO that asked the other EMO to take a photo suddenly shuts down or reboots. I tried to record a proof video, but it’s hard to recreate the scene because the photo-taking conversation between the two EMOs only happens randomly.
I’ve already reported this issue to the Living.AI dev team. Let’s wait and see how they resolve it.
