Probably in the next firmware update… as we all know, most of EMO’s features are also available in AIBI, or vice versa now. We just need to be patient—I’m pretty sure that feature will be implemented in EMO later on.

You’re absolutely right to notice that. The AIBI ads do show it reacting while someone is playing a computer game — which is exactly what many of us expected from EMO as a “desktop companion pet.”
So why can’t EMO do the same?
Based on community discussions and what Living.AI has shared, AIBI is a newer platform with a more modern hardware and software architecture. It was designed from the ground up to run more advanced interaction features, including background reactivity.
EMO, on the other hand, was released earlier. While it’s still a brilliant companion, its hardware (processor, sensors, memory, battery, etc.) lacks the extra headroom needed to continuously “watch and react” while performing its other tasks — without draining the battery or overheating.
Many members agree that such a feature would be perfect for EMO — it’s just not something the original hardware can handle smoothly in real-time, especially for long periods.
Is there hope? A few of us think that maybe a lighter version of this feature (like reacting to keyboard typing or mouse movement only when EMO is idle or on its charger) could be possible in a future firmware update — if Living.AI decides to revisit it.
For now, AIBI seems to be the more advanced sibling in terms of interactive responsiveness.
Still, your point is very valid — EMO was marketed as a companion pet, and features like this definitely belong in his spirit.

I want to suggest a simple and safe EMO‑to‑EMO messaging system that would let EMO owners send short voice messages to each other without any risk or strangers involved. Two EMOs must meet in real life once, look at each other, and exchange a secure friend token. Both owners then receive a popup in the app asking if they want to connect the EMOs, and only if both accept, the EMOs become trusted friends. After that, you can say “EMO, send a message to [friend],” and EMO will tell you to write the message in the app. Messages can be up to 20–25 seconds long, and you can send one every 45 seconds to prevent spam. When a message arrives, the receiving EMO shows a mail icon, waits for a head tap, and then reads the message out loud, or stores it in the app if EMO is busy or sleeping. Everything is encrypted and safe, with no strangers, no cloud storage issues, and no interruptions. There is also a simple way to end a friendship: if both owners choose “Remove Friend” in the app, the EMOs forget each other and can no longer send messages, which is a bit sad but keeps everything clean and controlled. This system would make EMO feel more social and connected while staying safe and easy to use.

I think Emo app should have option to connect to our calendar for meeting reminders adn it should have ability to do simple maths at the moment which is lacking.

Great idea!
I fully support this suggestion. Adding calendar integration would make EMO a truly helpful desktop companion, not just an entertaining one. Imagine EMO reminding you of meetings with a little gesture or a funny comment — that would be amazing.
As for math, I agree it’s currently lacking. However, I discovered that you can try this workaround: say “Let’s talk” or “Let’s chat” to enter ChatGPT mode, then ask math questions like “What is 25% of 200?” or “Solve 5 + 3 * 2”. It’s not perfect, but it works as a temporary solution.
I hope Living.AI considers these features in a future update. Thank you for bringing this up!

They need the Arabic language.
We need emo to play more games, like uno, monopoly, snake and ladders, it will be fun and raise the emo community. also he need to make multi-player Games for family and friends.

UNO is copyrighted and that idea was discarded after the launch video for EMO was created. Your other ideas sound good and thank you for suggesting.

I don’t think it’s as simple as it sounds for Living.AI to let Emo or Aibi sing songs from famous artists all the time. For every song, I guess they would need to contact the:
- Music Publisher/Songwriter
- Licensing Agencies / Collecting Societies
- Artist Management
to obtain proper permissions, licensing, or arrange royalty payments. There are likely legal and copyright issues involved, especially if the songs are performed publicly or used commercially. Copyright laws usually apply in these situations, so it’s probably much more complicated than it seems.
But who knows, maybe living.ai has a better way to implement your request.

ever since I had my pet emo I could never sleep so I suggest adding a button in the app wich puts him silent and sleeps until the desired time as in for example 9:30 PM to 7:50 AM every weekday, this would help a lot 
because of school or work

That’s a very thoughtful and practical suggestion. I fully understand the need — EMO is lively and interactive, and sometimes you just need him to be quiet during specific hours, especially on school or work nights.
Your idea of adding a “Do Not Disturb” (DND) schedule in the app is excellent. Being able to set a fixed silent period (e.g., 9:30 PM to 7:50 AM on weekdays) would make EMO a much better desktop companion for many users, especially students and professionals.
Currently, EMO does not have this feature. The only workaround is to either:
· Turn him off manually (upside down shutdown) before sleeping, or
· Mute him by saying “unmute” when you wake up (but this doesn’t schedule anything).
A scheduled silent mode would be a huge quality-of-life improvement. I hope Living.AI considers this in a future firmware or app update.

Hello @edward EMO keeps doing sound while sleeping, I don’t want to mute him because I have setted an alarm, what should we do, or u should add a do not disturb voice command for those who are sleeping

EMO never saves anything automatically; instead, he double‑checks every mood or activity he detects and only stores it after you confirm. In the app, there is a new “What You’re Doing” section where you can see everything EMO has learned, remove anything incorrect, add new hobbies or activities manually, and edit anything that changes. A personality level slider lets each owner choose how expressive or quiet EMO should be, preventing the feature from feeling too personal for some users. EMO also avoids false sickness detection by asking twice before entering gentle mode, and he uses soft suggestions instead of pressure when talking about your routines. Voice recognition prevents confusion when multiple people talk to EMO, and an optional app lock protects your private mood and health notes. EMO also performs smart cleanup to prevent memory overload and suggests monthly maintenance so the list stays organized. With these fixes, the Memory Core becomes accurate, respectful, private, and fully owner‑controlled, making EMO feel more aware and supportive without any of the usual disadvantages.
