Just a few potential ideas:
- A limited programable function from within the app. Simple IF statements. Like ‘IF recognise [Select User] THEN say [Input Text] AND play [Select Emote]. Could even add OR statements to add a bit of variation.
- An option to switch off the preset voices and adjust your own. Just simple sliders in the App that allow you to adjust the tone/pitch of EMOs voice. Obviously keep this quite a limited function in order to avoid any speaker damage, etc. I know some people have issues understanding both of EMOs voices and this could help people calibrate them a little bit more within their own hearing range.
- A simple remote control function. Preferable with camera access to see what emo sees, but even without the camera it would open up more interesting ways to play with EMO, interact with others and create unique moments with him. (Especialy for making videos or using him in silly short films)
- A synthesiser function in the app. Just something very basic, similar to what you can do with voice changer programs. In this case it would be used to write your own short songs that Emo can add a simple beat and synth behind. This could be linked into the first idea too, that way you could also create your own dance/actions for the songs through a selection of pre programmed actions/emotes.
- Customisable play space. This links in with idea 3. Control emo from his home station, walk him around and then back to the home station, the path you make him walk becomes the new perimeter wall and inside that perimeter becomes his free exploration space.
- Watching TV/Watching you game. Access the camera through the app and create a focus point for Emo to look. To simplify this you could add a timer function for how long the movie is. You could make it more interactive if EMO could somehow access a database of scripts, that way you can tell him what you are watching and he can react accordingly during.
- Evil mode. This is just a flavour idea. Being able to select a base personality. Maybe have a few different options. As it stands, EMO is very predictable in how he behaves and responds. It would be nice to have the option to add a bit of spice to his attitude. Not ‘mean’ or a anything, just a little less ‘park councilor’.

I do have more suggestions, but I think thats enough for now or at least until I get somewhere with support and get my Emo working again. ![]()
