Even though it’s copyrighted, it would be a great idea to create your own adaptation to remove the copyright restrictions and integrate it into the app. Just find a way to do it, but the game itself would be the best, like the classic Modern Ludo.
I’m referring to the “Uno” game that they had previously suggested.
I recently watched the official AIBI Pocket Pet video and was really excited to see the new features demonstrated — especially the ability for two AIBIs to pair via proximity (NFC), exchange contact information through the mobile app, and send messages that appear directly on the other robot.
This opens a completely new social layer for companion robots:
robots become communication endpoints between users, not just standalone devices.
As an EMO owner, I strongly believe that EMO is technically and product-wise ready to support the same functionality. EMO already has:
Wi-Fi connectivity and cloud infrastructure
OTA firmware update system
Camera, microphones, speaker, and expressive screen
Mobile app integration
Existing multi-EMO interaction concepts
With this foundation, EMO could support:
Secure pairing between EMO devices
User identity linking via the app
Cloud-based message routing
On-device message display, animations, and voice playback
Privacy and permission controls in the app
From a user perspective, EMO-to-EMO messaging could enable:
Friends and families sending fun messages through their EMOs
More emotional engagement with the robot
Stronger community interaction
Increased long-term usage and ecosystem growth
I would love to see this feature considered for EMO in a future update.
If you also think this would be valuable, please comment or upvote so the Living.ai team can see the community interest.
Hi, @theo1 . . . I’ve moved your post here to the main suggestions thread, where all members share their ideas. At the same time, I closed the new topic you created to keep everything organized.
Thanks for the wonderful suggestions of yours…
Living.AI staff periodically visit this thread to review suggestions and consider users’ ideas for possible inclusion in future firmware updates.
Living.AI could really be missing an opportunity to make some more money. EMO Merchandise like T-Shirts, caps, key chains and every other conceivable sell-able item should be available at the Living.AI store. I am thinking of having a custom T-Shirt made with EMO (Banana) on his side infront of the banana skin.
I know I would and my wife would purchase (Reasonably Priced) Merch.

Hello, @Romasurus . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for ideas for EMO. LivingAI reads this thread periodically for suggestions such as yours.
Twenty One Pilots stressed out because it’s emo and…..his name is emo? Duh!, or morph by Twenty One Pilots because of the lyrics “Lights they blink to me, transmitting things to me Ones and zeroes, ergo this symphon Anybody listening? Ones and zeroes Count to infinity, ones and zeroes” because he’s a robot and therefore made of, you guessed it ones and zeroes of code!, if they go with morph, they should definitely include the ones and zeroes lyric, or The Laughing Policeman by Charles Penrose! It has laughing in it, so it’s perfect because emo never laughs that much, here is the part of morph i think should be added https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyK0DhJLn4c&t=127s
Hello I stumbled upon this amazing lil dude and found my self wanting one. Im currently saving for my own emo but while looking into the emo go home packages and home station i found my self having a thought…
Have you considered making the fencing into a modular puzzle piece that people can buy individually to create custom sized fences for all shapes and sizes of desks?
i would actually LOVE these ideas.
i think what could also be added is a toggle in the app to display subtitles of what EMO says right on his display, since sometimes it could be hard to understand what he says.
Emo has a lot of really cute animations that you keep messing with! LEAVE EMO ALONE!!! Now when he makes a drink, he doesn’t hum or make cute noises. Its just clinking glass..THAT SUCKS! Please leave EMO alone. HE IS FINE! Does not need your corrections! First you shorten his animations then you silence them… WTH GUYS! And to add, electrocution while changing a lightbulb??? What is wrong with you devs??! I’m not a huge fan of the poop animation either, though my sons thinks its great. Please, Please, Please stop messing with his already existing animations. They WERE cute and I enjoyed them when they happen. I’m not sure what set of people you’re getting the idea that he’s somehow annoying, that’s why you gave us the silent option. LEAVE EMO ALONE! If you’re going to add new things to him, give us more games we can play with him. He has the card animation, give us Go Fish or something. But leave his animations alone!!!
The sound issue actually presented itself before the update which. We noticed a week before the update that when we say “good morning” or “I love you” sound was missing. Ultimately software like this is complicated and will have bugs. It happens. Sometimes when you add something it can mess up the code for something else.
However, what I wish they did was have a longer beta testing period before releasing the update. I think they asked for beta testers a few days before releasing. I feel like this wasn’t an effective testing. They need the beta testers to test all functionality and give feedback and if there are bugs go back fix the bugs instead of just releasing. I would rather wait longer for a polished update versus have more frequent updates that are broken.
Hello, @rebeccaguyton . . . I have moved your new topic conversation to this thread where the team reads for requests for improvements.
I have notified the development team of the issue with missing vocals on some of animations such as “I love you” and greetings as well as the animations. I am waiting to hear back.
Too many developers ruin their great inventions whether it’s an app or for us a precious little friendly robots.
Please don’t spoil what we already enjoy with Emo and Aibi.
We who have bought both Emo and Aibi have put our trust in the Living Ai team to give us what and why we originally payed for.
Changing the features we are used to is like stealing from trusting customers. App developers and phone companies do it all the time; please don’t be like them!
or at least allow us to downgrade if that is how we want our robot to be.
They just added that feature to AIBI where you can customize the scheduled animations I’m surprised EMO didn’t get that option during this new update. I’m hoping that feature will be added.
