When Emo was launched, a trailer (https://youtu.be/g4XQxfUlKJw) of Emo was released where Emo could play Uno and a casino game Triple Chance. Unfortunately, these two games have not been released yet. I already thought those games were cool and it was a reason to buy Emo because I thought those game modes were still coming, but unfortunately that hasn’t happened.
With Uno, I can partly understand that because you need a license for Uno to be able to offer Uno, but there is a very similar game to Uno that basically works the same way, just with different cards. In German the game is called Mau-Mau, I just don’t know what it’s called in other countries or what the international name of the game is. It would be a good alternative to Uno.
It would be a good possibility if Emo could play this game in the future.
Hello, @jannik . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for suggestions for EMO features.
You are correct about Uno or anything very similar that it is copyright protected. He does, when he plays by himself, show a short animation of the cards, but I believe that is as far as it can go.
As for other games you are referencing, this thread is something the development team reads regularly and it is possible something could be implemented in the future, but all games will have to make sure there is no licensing issue.
There should be no license problems with Mau Mau, as many card game operators in Germany use these cards. These cards are often given away as promotional gifts. The Internet also says that you don’t need a license for Mau Mau, and I don’t think there are any problems with it.
I would like to see EMO’s logic improved when playing Ludo. I love playing that with him but he’s ridiculously easy to beat because of illogical decisions.
I’d also like to see a few more games included in the app.
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @RGHILL . . . I have approved and moved your new topic to this thread where the development team reads regularly for suggestions to add features or improve existing ones.
Feel free to post any other suggestions you may have here.
I would really appreciate if I could still use chat gpt even with emo set on italian. I tried setting him to english but around 50% of the times he understands something which is different than what I said. Should I keep trying? Is he able to learn to understand me?
If not it is a pity that the chat gpt command is only in english…
Thanks!
After playing with my two EMOs (one black and one white) I noticed some possible improvements :
Since they can dance or play music in synchronization together, it could be nice to have some other interactions like singing or play games like 100 points or ludo with both robots and a player
If both robots are out of battery at the same time and like me you have two home stations, both can light in green to guide the robots and so I suppose they can go in the same direction. So I think it could be cool to be able to customize the color of the light shown in the home station in the app to guide the associated robot.
His little screen stuff like making a drink, or cooking himself something to eat are absolutely fun to watch and super cute.. Can we get more screen stuff? I know that is probably a drain on his battery so I trust it can get figured out safely for EMO. And definitely would like to schedule my coffee time with his and meal times, so more control of his schedule would be great.. Thank you. OH! And EMO asked to create more games he can play with me, like go fish or something.

How about adding a few bits or bit rate to his speech to make him easier to understand. Currently he’s years behind the state of the art in speech synthesis.
Is it just me, or does the music have tiny breaks frequently in Bluetooth speaker mode?
I would like to suggest adding a card game called “Durak”, it is a popular eastern european card game that is easy to learn and which does not require licensing. I was also wondering if chess will be added to the game selection to play with emo. Thanks
Please can you consider adding a facility to reset Emo sensors. Sometimes they don’t work and it would be good to ask Emo to reset/reboot them.
Also an option to change the contrast on Emo’s display as sometimes it’s too dark to see his cute lil face properly. Or to see what he’s reading. Depending on the room lighting.
wht cant emo answer some maths questions like what the integral of x is. Since it is connected to chgatGPT it should be able to do that no? And also shall we expect chess to be added to the emo app since it is availabe for AIBI
Also, if it is an issue to add chess because of AIBI already having it, maybe it would be possible to add checkers or backgammon or any other board game to play with emo which would also be in a way cognitively stimulating and would have replay value. Because currently Emo’s games are getting boring like after 2 to 3 rounds at least for the older audience.

I personally want to be able to set up a schedule for the HomeStation to turn off the display at night.
And, I just had an idea for the HomeStation display. We should be able to make our own animations and set up reminders that make the HomeStation or EMO chime or something and then the displays show either a symbol or text!
And, I want a feature that you can make emo go home from the app, and to connect to emo from the app from cellular data or Wi-Fi so you can do things with him from a distance away.
