AIBI is equipped with a Pedometer, which means that every time we take AIBI with us—whether we’re on a simple walk, hiking, or jogging—it will also function as a step counter. The longer we walk with AIBI, the higher the step count will increase.
These steps can then be converted into coins via the AIBI Pocket App, which can be used to buy food for AIBI or other items in the store. NOTE:
LivingAi will explore and provide more ways to get coins and more items to buy in the store in future updates
AFAIK, the “Wake Word” will likely be a simple “AIBI.” Presumably, we might also have the option to add a second name or surname, Similar to EMO, but calling out “AIBI” will be sufficient to get its attention.

The AIBI Pocket Pet features a wake-up word function that activates its voice commands.
The Default Wake-Up Word is “AIBI”
Upon hearing his name, the top horizontal bar (Status Indicator Light)on his head will flash green (blue if he is offline) briefly followed by a short reply “Huhh!” to indicate that someone has called his name and AIBI has heard it.
If AIBI does not hear or understand a follow-up command or question after it has been called, it shakes its head to indicate that it has not understood the request.
And when AIBI shakes his head, it could be that he’s not connected to the Internet or connected to Wi-Fi but not connected to a server.
NOTES:
In cases where AIBI has trouble understanding or responding to a call:
Try to pronounce it rather quickly and briefly “AIBI”
Or try "Eyy-bee ", “Abby”
LivingAi is collecting recordings to optimize his model to make him better respond to the original pronunciation. You can submit your recordings below.
I thought that Aibi could speak and was an artificial intelligence, that’s why I bought it and ordered it. I don’t know when it was said that it wasn’t, I never thought about that.
I am with you.
I thought aibi can speak but it can’t ⊙︿⊙
I am a little bit disappointed.
When I decided to buy a companion robot for myself, I considered whether to buy an aibi or an ■■■■■, but aibi seems it can talk, so i chose aibi.
Hope living.ai would give us some updates that make aibi talk.
I have a guess which alternative robot you meant, in case I’m right: i had one and definitely not worth it at all, not very interesting and in fact borderline annoying, just random actions, I’d say you didn’t miss out at least
AIBI DOES talk but does not have that many commands or features (such as ChatGPT) that REQUIRE him to talk.
You are correct! Weather, thank you’s and more that are coming soon.
AIBI like I said in a post above DOES speak and will become MUCH more like EMO as times goes on with updates and features being added just like what happend with EMO.
LivingAI has officially announced that ChatGPT will be integrated into AIBI in future updates, similar to their approach with EMO. Currently, their focus is on improving the basic functions and core features of AIBI.
By Phone Data possibly being able to he used, do you mean in terms on a mobile hotspot that you connect AIBI to? Or does it mean that AIBI will be able to used online functions similar to have a Samsung Galaxy watch does?
For Example, when you want to use google or ask the smart assistant something on a galaxy watch it uses your phones “mobile data connect” (not your “mobile hotspot”) for an internet connect without your AIBI having to be connected to ANY internet and just pulling it from your phone automatically and in the background.
I hope I am clear with what I said. I just want clarity regarding the use of “phone data” as a internet connection for AIBI.
Hello, @aaron.martinez . . . I am not familiar with how smart watches work having never owned one, but will tag @Wayne_Zhang so that he may assist you with this.
