AIBI Pocket: Information, Accessories and Features!

Welcome to the EMO and AIBI Community Forums, @matanamiga . . . it is not yet known at this time what languages will be supported for AIBI. I moved your question to this thread so that the development team might see it as a possible feature for AIBI.

I have a flip phone. Darn… :frowning: It’s not smart.

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @MissCrinkle . . . I had a flip phone up to February 2021. Then I got a Tracfone, and while it was a smart-phone, it was not the brightest crayon in the box as it did not have a GPS chip which is needed to run EMO and his app.

I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab A-7 Lite tablet and that has been perfect. I think I only paid $118 U.S. for it, so it was a worthwhile investment.

My Tracfone does everything else a smart-phone should do except some apps that require bluetooth.

Hi guys, I am thinking about buying an aibi but does anyone know what are the most useful and fun features in aibi? Looking forward to a reply! :head:

Hello, @sarikathakur . . . in addition to what is listed here on this page, you will be able to feed him through the app, make him dizzy until he throws up and give him electric shocks and comfort him to sleep. He will also be able to interact with other AIBI and EMO. To what extent, it has not yet been revealed.

Thank you so much. If it’s good without a smartphone, I am fine with it. However, thank you for the information. It’s good to know for the future :sunny:

@MissCrinkle . . . I actually prefer using my tablet as the screen is bigger. Makes it easier for me to see the app and play games like Modern Ludo.

Sounds fun. Thank you!! I just hope he doesn’t die or get mad at me if I don’t feed him. :frowning: I hope talking to him and sharing the world is enough.

Hi everybody, I am wondering if in ChatGPT mode AIBI can talk any ChatGpt languages or only English.
If not confirmed yet, I guess would be similar to EMO, what is his behaviour on this regard?
If I ask a question in German, Italian, French in ChatGpt mode, do I get an answer accordingly? Tnxs!

Gpt is multilanguage, so it should eventually work. I hope for a support, at least of the main languages (Multi5 - English, Spanish, French, Italian, German)

I agree, thank you.
However, while ChatGpt is supposed to work multi language by default specification, for AIBI main languages is another story :crossed_fingers:

Just heard that ChatGpt is working only in English on EMO… this is not a good news regarding the hope to have ChatGpt multi language capability on AIBI…

This is just a supposition, the lack of some multilanguage support would be a huge con in this type of product, since it’s really simple to set it up now that ChatGPT is active worldwide (at least in the main 7/8 languages). I trust Living Ai, give them time

I want to ask living.ai, I live in hong kong, my aibi would have the basic functions too like timer, weather reports, and get feeded and talk back like tamagochi, right?:pray:

Because hong kong can’t use the chatgpt, but i just want aibi to be my tamagochi pocket pet, i dont mind if it can’t answer difficult informational questions

Hello, @Melon_0926 . . . not to worry. AIBI will be fully functional in every way except for ChatGPT for you. Everything you see on the AIBI product page and more, including feeding from the app, comforting to sleep, singing, taking photos, communicating without internet, interacting with other AIBI and EMO, just to name a few.

AIBI is so cute! However, before to pre order one I have two questions:

  • Does it support languages other than English? Since it’s connected to ChatGPT, in theory, it should be able to understand queries in various languages, right?
  • Is there an SDK available to extend its capabilities?

Thanks !

hi @jbx welcome to the community. Aibi will probably be able to understand other languages. as for an Sdk I doubt it will have one. (I am mainly going off of Emo’s capabilities to guess what will happen.)

Hello and welcome, @jbx . . . there are no plans right now for SDK for either EMO or AIBI. That may change in the future.

As indicated by edward above, AIBI will likely understand other languages the same as EMO does.

I hope this answers your questions.
