EMO has been released for over two years now. Is the hardware configuration of the newly released AIBI more advanced than EMO?
According to the website, it seems a more advanced bot (I mean 3 mics array, lidar -?-, new features, still I’m not sure if the screen is Oled or not).
I don’t know the specific hardware configuration information now
@okdream and @massimod . . . a comprehensive video will be released that Living AI is working on now that will answer a lot of questions and show more of what AIBI is and can do.
I heard of it, can’t wait
A post was merged into an existing topic: AIBI Pocket Pet: Pre - Order Topic
Good morning, these are three basic questions that can help me decide whether to buy the robot now or not.
Question: I imagine that in the future you will be updating Aibi to have more functions, will this be updated directly on our original Aibi without the need to pay?
Question: In the near future, do you plan on making it capable of moving on its own or returning to its charging base to recharge itself? If so, if I purchase the original now, would I have to buy another one later?
Question: Can it be programmed? Can it serve as a personal assistant? Can I program it to wake me up at a certain time, or remind me if I have been watching too much TV?
Question: How long does it last without being charged?
Thank you,
Eva.
Good Day and Welcome to the EMO and AIBI community forums, @evagonzalezvargas ,
“At the moment, living.ai has not mentioned that we have to pay for anything else besides the product we ordered. The only thing everyone knows is that there are no additional subscriptions to pay for each firmware update, just like EMO”
“AIBI is designed to be a pocket or hangable pet, making it convenient to bring along wherever we go. He can stand but cannot walk alone by himself, unlike EMO, who can walk back to his Home Station. It means we have to recharge him manually using his included charger.”
“At the moment, there is no proper information about what you’re asking. Perhaps it will be available in the future, and only Living.ai Dev. Team can confirm this.”
" AIBI battery life will last 2 hours with constant interaction. They will optimize low-power mode to last four hours."
Best Regards
Do we have an exact date or information about the upcoming video’s publication or is the status of the video “soon”?
Welcome to the EMO and AIBI Community Forums, @Dragon989 . . . not yet. As far as I know it is still “soon”. If you think back to the launch video for EMO, there are a lot of complicated sets, commands, spoken lines and a variety of situations EMO had to be put in to come up with that short video. Lighting angles, microphone placement for audio . . . as a content creator, I get why it may take a bit to create the video, but just know that LivingAI does a great job!
Good to know, thanks for the quick reply!
can aibi communicate with emo?
Welcome to the EMO and AIBI Community Forums, @gjjfdljkfdjgkhgkghgg . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread where we discuss the features AIBI will have. Yes, AIBI will be able to communicate with EMO.
Feel free to read about some of the other features in this thread that AIBI will have.
Hi guys,
a big concern for many of us seemed to be the battery life. I texted with Wayne Zhang and asked him, if there are any plans for a portable charger, like for air pods. His answer: „Yes, we will consider larger pocket in the future“… „a larger pocket with battery for AIBI“. Hope some of you helps this information
info on aibi abilities on tracking
Welcome to the EMO and AIBI Community Forums, @paul.dimino . . . I have moved your post to this thread which discusses the features for AIBI.
If you refer to the official AIBI page here, you will see that he follows objects and people using his tracking. Your original post I moved your question from asked abour a laser pen. I am sure that will be something he will also be able to follow since he can follow other things.
Read about and watch about AIBI here.
Stay tuned to this thread for more information on upcoming features for AIBI!
