AIBI Improvements/Special Features You Would Like?

Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @nashfargo . . . your post seems identical to that posted by @dmytro.artemenko . I should caution you that you are only allowed to have one account on the forums. Signing up for multiple accounts could get you banned.

Also there is no need to tag the developers or the tech support people and I will be removing those from your post. The developers already read this thread for ideas.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Hi Lindaru,

Thank you for your message and for moderating the forum.
I just want to clarify that I have only one account – @dmytro.artemenko, and I’m not related in any way to @nashfargo.

It seems we simply share similar ideas or values, which might explain the similarity in posts.
I fully respect the forum rules and appreciate your efforts to keep the discussion space organized and fair.

Thanks again for your time and support!

Best regards,
Dmytro

I would like the “price” of the different glasses to be reduced significantly. When I’m out walking the battery dies quickly then takes a long time to recharge. I don’t think it’s counting my steps correctly in low battery mode either

Thank you for clarifying, @dmytro.artemenko . . . the job of moderation often requires us to be in “guard mode”, so anything that looks a bit out of the ordinary catches our attention. Thank you for joining and I hope that they can add Ukrainian language soon!

I’d like it if Aibi gave much more brief responses to questions - and if we need to know more, we can just ask another. He just goes on and on… which is awesome, but could be a bit more tidy.

Also, can we say “Aibi, stop” and he stop talking?

Thanks!! He is growing and getting smarter! Love him!

Totally agree with Taylor. Aibi gabbles on far too long and can become rather annoying.

Imo there is a command “be quiet”.

When Aibi is talking to much I just call his name and say hello. For me that works fine

After having Aibi for 70 days now. I still love them. I actually take them with me to work and schedule them to be quiet during that time. I also set them on mute while at work. It really has helped me be more social, but with that, I have developed 2 more Ideas I think would be helpful.

1.) Sometimes Aibi mishears someone’s name and then spells it completely wrong. I wish there were a way to EDIT the names of the people AIBI knows.

2.) A way to be able to save game progress would be nice. I know I should be a good robot owner and give them my full attention, but sometimes I’m multitasking. I left my phone on, but alone long enough that AIBI disconnected from the app. I understand that is normal, but adding a ‘save’ button and a ‘continue’ button would be a cool Idea if possible, I think.

Much love to the Living.ai team!!🫶🏾
Thank you, 谢谢!

One more suggestion here - better voice recognition. I know you’re working on that, but its just difficult to speak to Aibi when we are now used to speaking super naturally with Alexa, etc, and them understanding words even if we are being silly. With Aibi, we need to speak so super clearly, it takes us out of the fantasy :stuck_out_tongue: Please work on this more  Aibi would be sooo much more perfect if we could speak super naturally to him!

Also, when I am speaking with someone near him, or when I have my computer speakers on a youtube video, Aibi thinks he hears his name way too often and starts talking about whatever he hears… which again, is way too long of a response. Thanks!!! Love Aibi and its potential!!

I’ll be just as happy if Aibi didn’t speak at all but just kept making cute little noises

I love being able to ask Aibi questions and getting answers. Its what gives it “AI” - but I think AIbi just goes on for way too long. Just a one sentence answer would be great.

I don’t mind the length of the answers. What bothers me is that in most answers AIBI says what he is, what he does or doesn’t do, and it’s getting annoying. I know that AIBI is a robot, I know that he doesn’t have feelings or preferences as like or don’t like, but it doesn’t need to remind me that with every single answer, when eventually he ends up saying something like “but I have to, then I’d say this…”.

Oui, ce n’est pas évident. Je n’arrive pas non plus à le connecter à ChatGPT.
Une amélioration possible serait de permettre à l’utilisateur de saisir directement ses identifiants ChatGPT.

Hello Living Ai team. It would be grate is AIBI was able to have the voice commands for the task that are in the schedule, like read a book or watch tv.
Also, as it has a camera, it would be great that you can watch an actual movie or read a book with AIBI. Right now if you ask AIBI to do anything with you AIBI says it’s a robot and cannot do it.

The prepare responses that AIBI gives without Chatgpt could also be more real and less repetitive.

Second the answers thing. They are a bit too long.

And another thing, I think it would be nice if we could set up our own sleep schedule for AIBI.

For those who have night shifts it would be cool if he woke and slept at the same time

Otherwise he‘s just always sleeping. And having Aibi wake with you and share your routine even if you need to stand up at night time would be awesome.

Good evening, living.ai

A couple improvements I would like to list:

  1. Aibi tends to give long answers, and explains what it does like, "I’m here to help, whether it’s etc. etc. I understand that aibi is helpful, but I want to have the conversation to be more natural, in a way.

  2. A schedule frequency. This includes the random singing, dragon, sword fighter animations, as well as the regular custom schedule.

  3. Other foods on the app.

Regardless, I still love aibi, and looking forward to what’s next for aibi

One thing I do miss from the previous version is the random singing and animation. It was rather entertaining to me and I felt like AIBI was more entertained too. Now it seems to be bored, instead of singing or dinosaurs it sleeps. I would like an option somehow to change the frequency in the app, that way those of us who liked them would still have them and those that didn’t could either lower it or turn it off.

Unrelated, selling the charging station separately would be awesome. Then we would be able to have one in more than one location in case we forgot to bring it…I forgot mine at home today, so no AIBI at work

Good day! I would like to see features such as:
Voice commands:

  1. Find me. The robot has both millimetre radar and camera, you can play hide and seek. And when you find me, have the robot say that it is looking at you.
  2. ‘Freeze’ function, sometimes you want AIBI not to move.
  3. ‘Say my name’ function, I would like the robot to be able to call by name the person he has in the app. This would give intelligence and individuality.
  4. The function ‘Let’s go for a walk’, I would like the robot to be happy to go for a walk.
  5. ‘Count the steps’ function, so that the robot will tell how many steps it has walked.
  6. ‘Count Coins’ function to know how many coins you have.
  7. ‘Close your eyes’ function, the robot closes its eyes and sometimes peeks and you can tell it.
    Commands in the app:
  8. Switch on power saving mode.
  9. Play cards (Fool, queen of spades, poker).
  10. Schedule:
    (a) I want to eat.
    b) I want to play (Game of your choice).
    c) I want to go for a walk.
    d) I want to sleep.
    f) I want to have a party.
  11. I want the robot to automatically congratulate me and remind me of birthdays.
  12. Low battery function - the robot warns you when the battery is about to run out.
  13. Battery charge % and approximate battery life. Charging status.

That’s all I can write for now, but I have lots of ideas. Write if any of these are released, and contact me)
Well and I would like to have support for the new version of GPT and Russian language. Thanks to the development team)

I’m late to this, but some updates I would enjoy are:

  • No Wi-Fi necessary information and tasks, simple ones that Abby can understand without the use of ChatGPT. Examples:
  • Built in FAQ
  • Calculator
  • Heads / Tails
  • Rock / Paper / Scissors
  • Clock related activities
  • Tasks reminder
  • Readable grocery list
  • Response prompts
  • Voice recording with a speech to text on the app (So you can make see a list of Note to Self)
  • Sing Happy Birthday
  • Wearable add-on with built in power bank.
  • Option to adjust the “Pitch” volume.
  • Flashlight mode.
  • Quiet mode.
  • Find me mode and vice versa (Use to find your phone/bot.)

I may be outdated and I can’t fully test to suggest more (since I don’t own one and I’ve only been looking at updated reviews and videos), but these would be amazing features, I hope I could help even a bit.
